She descended down from the mountain to the grove. It had been a day trip and she halted progressing any further west once the sun settled. The female had not made plans to make this trip take longer than two days max. She would be violating their agreements and she was not set on getting kicked out so terribly soon.
Birtie huffed with a tad bit of frustration. She had been hoping to see more before the sun disappeared but she supposed the clouds had not been of much help either. Roaming in the dark was not a bad idea but then again this was all foreign land. For all she knew, one wrong turn would throw her off course completely. But she was bold. There was also faith that perhaps fresh snow would hold off long enough to not cover her tracks or scent.
