somewhere only we know - Lorcan - Feb 14, 2018 [dohtml]valetines thread <3 'somewhere only we know' by keane It had been around mid-afternoon when Lorcan had begun to lead Piety up the western side of the mountain. The male had given her no clue or reason why she should follow him up the precarious snow covered slopes, just that she had to. A knowing grin had spread across his charcoal lips to entice her, and the playful glimmer in his bright golden eyes promised that @Piety would be in for a treat if she did not put up a fuss and followed after him.[/dohtml] RE: somewhere only we know - Piety - Feb 14, 2018 She followed him without fuss. Although, she was rather curios where he could be leading her to. Their path was one that seemed to scale up the mountain in the chilling winds. Faithful with Lorcan as her guide, the pale female kept up with his pace. Her tail swished behind her easily when they seemed to reach a stopping point. Brown eyes took in the view before she moved herself forward to settle by the healer's side. "Start the night?" She smiled softly before she gave a soft bump to his shoulder. "Do you have a whole night planned out for us?" Piety wouldn't mind one bit if he did but she certainly was curious. The dove's gaze returned back to their view, though. She was beyond eager to enjoy something so easy going. Not to mention it had been some time since she had enjoyed some sky gazing with Lorcan. Things had gotten messy between the two but it seemed like time apart had cleaned up the mess for the duo. RE: somewhere only we know - Lorcan - Feb 14, 2018 [dohtml] Lorcan’s smile grew into an excited grin as @Piety question him and a single white brow rose playfully. “Mmhm.” He confirmed, before leaning over to press his dark nose to her warm cheek affectionately and wrap his thick tail around behind her in an attempt to keep the female warm.[/dohtml] RE: somewhere only we know - Piety - Feb 15, 2018 She accepted his affectionate touch. It felt foreign to the pale woman as he brain still figured that was a kind of touch reserved for Wraith. Briefly, she felt smothered but did her best to let the feelings roll away. Lorcan was being rather sweet and she had no intentions of ruining the evening with sour memories. "Better be worth it." The Santoro teased softly. She didn't mind being snagged for an evening. More specifically an evening that didn't require truly working. She knew she was wearing herself thin but she couldn't help it. Busy paws left little time for her mind to wander to the bad things that had happened. Piety briefly leaned into the healer with a small smile. "Of course." Her voice barely reached above a whisper. "And you'll let me know if you get too cold?" A brow raised as she looked over at Lorcan. Arctic heritage blessed her with thick fur during the colder seasons and she did not want to make Lorcan feel as though he had to sit in the cold with her. The pale female focused on the colors that seemed to layer and blend in the sky. It was a glorious scene and one well worth the climb. Down in the woods she could barely see through all the thick foliage. She would have sat in the silence forever, soaking in the views, had her company's voice not shattered the silence. "I don't remember." The answer was a lie for she recalled gazing on top of the gold-veined boulders being affectionately groomed by the large Kael. But what kind of company would she be if she went on about a passed on love? RE: somewhere only we know - Lorcan - Feb 15, 2018 [dohtml] In response to Piety’s teasing comment, Lorcan turned his head to face her, his smile less playful and more sincere this time. “It will be…” He assured her warmly. At last, the male certainly hoped it would be worth their trek up the side of the mountain.[/dohtml] RE: somewhere only we know - Piety - Feb 17, 2018 [dohtml] She was content to stay silent and watch the colors change in the sky. Gently she leaned into him as the temperature dropped. Truthfully, she forgot sometimes just how cold the lands could get once the sun disappeared. She supposed the view was all worth it. Especially up at this elevation. "What did you have planned for once the sun went down?" Her voice was soft but still loud enough for him to hear it. She had no interests in sharing their plans with any snoopers or passer-bys. Especially if Lorcan had gone out of his way to plan a whole night just for them. It was flattering honestly. The pale female stood up momentarily to stretch her limbs. Her pose taking on a bow before she stood up again and moved to his other side in a slow circle. A smile tugged at her worn features as brown eyes focused on the masked face of Lorcan. RE: somewhere only we know - Lorcan - Feb 17, 2018 [dohtml] Russet ears perked up and tilted towards the pale female who was lounging at his side. At her question Lorcan raised his brows. “Well,” He began with a soft smile and a thump of his tail against the snow. “I was thinking that we could stay here and star gaze for a while,” The agouti male informed her with a curious tilt of his head. “and then head back for some food? I managed to catch two hares this morning, so I thought we could eat them together.”[/dohtml] |
