The young boy walked slowly, the last rays of the sun had disappeared down into the distance about an hour ago. But he had little care, darkness around him tired eyes would look over the snow-covered landscape, the mountains many shapes and forms. He knew that there was a lake in front of him som were, he been able to see it before the sun went down but hadn't gone to it. Instead, he walked what looked like a field, as only a few rocks seemed to break the snow. He wondered what lay beneath the snow, paws digging through the soft white layer to see underneath it. But also to create a space for him to lay down and rest.

The boy looked at the withered plant growth under the snow for a moment. Eye's lingering before he moved to curl up in the small space he cleared. He would sleep for a few hours, just till the sun came back up and then he would move on. He had to find her, the rumbling of his belly was meet with a short whine. He was hungry, how long had it been since he eaten? He should try to look for something, who knew maybe he be lucky and find something to scavenge. He curled up tightly, wishing he was in the woodlands he been told about with a full belly and his sister by his side to give him warmth. Eyes would peer out into the darkness, as he laid there his thoughts wandering as he waited for the soft voice of sleep to draw him in.

Seeting: Late afternon, the sun has alredy set. Its fine weather with a few cloudes.

The sun had set while he had been out of the territory and now he had to find his way back in the dark. A grimace marred his face as he began the trek back. He had gone hunting but the stormy male had nothing to show for his efforts. The few critters he had found had been too on edge for him to catch. Lips curled up with displeasure before smoothing once again. Solas would simply have to try again tomorrow and hope that his luck would get better.

A sound filtered through the air and his ears instantly pricked forward. Scraping? Perhaps it was some sort of prey looking for something to nibble on. Taking more care with where he put his feet Solas moved forward head low. Maybe just maybe he would be lucky tonight after all. Or not he noted as the scent of wolf filled his nose as he reached the source of the sound. A gurgling sound and a whine filled his ears. Whoever it was hadn't been lucky with their own hunting then. A soft sigh spilled past his lips before he stepped into view.

The sight of a pale wolf greeted him. One that looked like he was trying to go to sleep. Solas raised a brow. Did he want to disturb him or not? He didn't want another wolf trying to steal from them but if he was already asleep being woken up by a stranger might make him defensive. Still staring he considered his options.

Neo wasn't fully asleep, not yet at least the thoughts in his head keeping him awake and the events of the oast few days spinning like a carousel. He knew Tagg had gone to his pack so he waits for him here. After all the man had promised to help him look for Nia and the Woodlands while they looked for his son. The scent in the air changed, another had arrived, a wolf who said nothing but his scent was not in total silence. It spoke so much, he smelled like the area. Did that mean he was from the pack? It surely wasn't Tagg this one smelled different from him.

The young boy's eyes lifted his head turning to look around until landing on the dark man. It surely wasn't Tagg, he was not the same color and his face was not scared. Yout tired eyes would watch him with interest but make no move to go to him. What if he was dangerous? But he smelled like he lived here and Tag had said his pack lived here. So he couldn't be, right? Carefully the pale boy's jaws would part "Hello?" he said almost questioning and hesitant.

How much of a gamble did he want to take with this wolf? On the one hand he could just be passing through on the other he might try and approach the pack with either good or bad intentions. There was a different scent that clung to this pale wolf's pelt that was vaguely familiar and Solas frowned. He knew that he had never seen this wolf before so why was his scent tickling a memory in his head? The stormy male remained still as he thought trying to place it and at the moment not being able to.

It also looked liked the wolf was still awake and aware of his surroundings. He had lifted his head and was looking right at Solas with green and yellow eyes. Then he opened his lips and spoke with a hesitant hello. Solas let out a soft sigh as he stepped a bit closer so that the other could see him easier in the dark.

Sorry if I disturbed you. Solas told him. I wasn't trying to wake you up. He had just been staring kinda creepily at him as he tried to figure out what to do about him, that was all.

The man stepped forth and Neo's ears twitched nervously. But the man did not look like he had any ill intent. But the young wolf still felt worried about him, he was kinda creepy in his dark coat and his lingering in the dark. But his haplology had ears peak just so every slightly. The young Hervok would shake his head, "Wasn't asleep yet" his words were short as he looked around once more, trying to see if anyone ells were around. But appeared it was just the dark man and him.

Looking back at the man the boy would carefully get to his legs, a light shake of his fur to rid him of snow which clung to him after laying down. His green eyes would peer over past the man as he wondered if Tagg was okay. Perhaps this was why the man was here? To get him? Tagg had told him to stay close by until eh was ready to go.

Eyes would return to the stranger a hesitant smile on his lips. He should try to be polite, if this was a friend of tag he shouldn't make him mad or be impolite. Standing at his full height his tail would hang down behind him just so slightly tugged under him "Neo Herovk" he spoke bowing his head "Tagg ready to go?" he finally asked tilting his head a bit.

The pale stranger eyed him warily and Solas stopped where he was so that the wouldn't feel threatened. The stranger head shook as he told the stormy male that he hadn't been asleep before eyeing the surrounding area. A soft snort escaped Solas. I guess I shouldn't be all that sorry then and you can stop looking around I'm alone. If he someone with him they probably would have come out by now to see what he was staring at or to figure out who he was talking to.

Solas's eyes narrowed as the pale stranger stood up. His tail was tucked beneath him but not overly so. The stormy male didn't like submissive acts but this one was rather mild so he held his tongue. He couldn't hold his tongue however when he was bowed to. I don't like the submissive displays and I am not above you in any way so you can stop that. They were in neutral land and he hadn't done anything irk Solas yet so there was no need for the extra politeness or the politically correct stuff. They were equals here. At least that was how he saw it.

As for the introduction and Tagg...

Solas Coldheart and I wasn't aware that Tagg had returned. I've been gone all day. He tipped his head a bit as he eyed Neo intently. I'm guessing he's still searching for his son if you're waiting for him. Why would this Neo help Tagg though? Were they friends or were they simply traveling together? It wasn't his business but he was curious and it showed.
