RE: Let My Motives Be My Motivation - Sachiel - Feb 21, 2018

Sachiel didn’t need anymore convincing—the yearling definitely did not want any of his help. So he shrugged. One shoulder due to defeat, the other to indifference. He wasn’t going to beg and plead for the blonde youth to listen to him. If he didn’t want to be helped Sachiel wasn’t going to offer anymore. He had better things to do—things that didn’t involve miserable strangers. M’kay, he responded with another shrug as he shuffled backward, creating even more distance between himself and the loner. There was nothing else for him to say. It was time the agouti Leigh returned to his previous task and left the injured male to wallow in his injuries. If he changed his mind the blonde could easily track the dark agouti through the snow. But he wasn’t going to test his luck—not without his trusty sidekick.

RE: Let My Motives Be My Motivation - Daighre I - Feb 21, 2018

Holy shit.

Was the conversation over? The kid done with his questions? It sure seemed that way when the brat shuffled backwards and starting walking away. He released a breath he didn’t know he was holding and his shoulders drooped with relief. There hadn’t even been a fight. Just pointless question after pointless question and Daighre wasn’t sure which outcome he preferred. Violence or boredom and intense annoyance?

It didn’t matter. The brat was gone and he was free.

And not wanting to waste his newfound freedom—Daighre stomped away into the forest. He would worry about the white firs when he was as far away as possible from the clearing.

End thread.
