Strange Strangers - Odysseia - Feb 20, 2018

[dohtml]
Odysseia Immorta
Get out your guns, battle's begun.
Are you a saint or a sinner?

@Olwen  a few hours after midday, light snow and a light wind.

She was happy, she met a friend and they talked for a while. But now she was now back on her own. And it made her feel lonely. It felt odd, she had always been a loner and since they arrived at Whitestone Monadnock even more so. She wondered why, she spend almost two full years on her own wandering the lands and living on her own. So why was she feeling lonely now? She sighs softly and looks around at the pines stretched around her and the fjords claiming song was in the light wind. The snowfall had not stopped and everything seemed covered in a  blanket of white. A shake of her head as she pushed on she had a job to do, and she be fine. She had always been fine.

Paws would carry her towards along the fjords side, the snow-covered trails were hard to follow but with patient it was possible. Burning eyes would look out over the water as she stopped again, wondering if she should keep on moving or go back. But back to what? She had no pack, her family was scattered to god knows were. But she was happy for them, she just neede to find her place in the whole wide world. And for now, she really ought to try and find Cheedo and ensure she was alright right.

The painted woman wondered what the other she-wolf had to say, she become the second as far as Ody could understand. So the scared woman she knew had likely changed. And Ody was happy for her, she could only hope Cheedo would be happy to see her to once she found her. Ody smiled and looked out over the fjord, wondering what was in store for her.

RE: Strange Strangers - Olwen - Feb 21, 2018

The man walked with meaning, his strides precise and carefully made. Olwen held an air of urgency about him that betrayed his stoic facial expression. To say he wasn't worry would have been a rather large lie. They had lost the caribou herd's trail. He had been foolish to let them take a day's break. He was oh so foolish. The man was angry with himself for his mistake, and planned to correct it. Before entering the Lore he told his family to hang back where they were safe. He would find the herd and return to them, but that was not the man's only mission. This was new land, vastly different than their open homeland. Perhaps more suitable for them too.

He had noted tall strange trees throughout the place, collected together in certain areas. Olwen had never seen so many trees in his life. However he tried not let all the new things distract him, instead focused on what he was here for. Food. Shelter. Survival. The man's top three priorities.

Coming to the musical land the man first mistaken the sounds for a howl, but drawing near it was very much not so. Olwen's tail curled above his back as brown eyes landed on the form of another wolf. Confidently we walked to meet her, strides careful and precise. "Hello," although not a deep voice, Olwen's still commanded attention. While his stance was dominant, the male meant no harm nor was he trying to come off mean.

The spider turned around as someone greeted her, at first a smile on her face but as soon as she saw him her smile vanished and her eyes narrowed as his stance was dominating. Her lips quivered slightly as if to curl back, but ended up smoothed. Orange eyes, however, remained narrowed on the pale man. Her own tail moved to mimic the man's raised as a flag above her bad a slightly irritated wag to it. "You know for someone who does not rule over me, nor have any borders near me you sure got some nerve" she replied her voice neutral but sharp. Who the hell did he think he was?  Waltzing around like he owned the freaking place, he smelled of others but he did not carry a certain ground smell of him so likely he was in some roaming band of sorts. But that sure hell did not mean he could just step up as if he freaking owned the place or was above her.

Orange eyes would glare at him daring him to keep his dominating stance, she was usually not a hot-tempered wolf but her pride was hurt, because of this white ididot.

RE: Strange Strangers - Olwen - Feb 22, 2018

The man had more pressing matters than the words flowing out of this woman's mouth. She looked rather displeased with him, but the male did not return her irritation. He was calm, his tail remaining where in the man's mind it belong. All his life he had been above most wolves and he didn't really intend to lower his banner for even simple chit chat. Despite her obvious annoyance the white wolf smile, speaking once more, "Can you please tell me where I am? I'm looking for the caribou herd, have you seen it?"

He simply brushed off the woman's words and asked his questions. He knew who he was and didn't see harm in the way he stood. Finally, deciding it best to answer her, he did. "I am Olwen Spitfire of CaribouPeak" Out of pure habit the man introduced himself as if he was still in his family's pack. "I mean you no harm ma'am, just looking for the herd. I have never claimed to rule over you or the land, just the herd." In Olwen's mind the herd belonged to his group. They had taken the time to follow it this far, to go after any wolves who sought to harm them, and therefore it was theirs. Sure, they'd pick one off when need be, but they only took what they needed and kept other wolves away.

OOC here!

The pale man changed nothing, he just kept talking as if expecting she just explain whatever he neede to know if he stood dominant like some freaking alpha. But he was wrong, his posture earned him nothing and she tell him nothing. Instead, a deep rumbling snarl left her lips, it was the final warning from him back to fuck down or do this the hard way. And the fool kept on talking.

And the idea of owning a herd was the last thing she needed to hear from this fool. "Unless you have a territory where the herd lives it does not belong to you" she snarled as her knees bend and legs spread out to support her weight better. Hear ears would fall back against her skull to defend them and head lower so it aligns with her spine to defend her throat. She moves circling him for a second to get in a better position before she leaps forth a growl from her lips as she aims to grab a hold of his muzzle in a downwards motion so that should she grab it she also force it downwards towards the ground. He would taste the dirt and feel the pain of his stupidity.

(Note: 2/? Fight post)

Of course he owned the herd, they had taken so much time with it. All his life his family had owned a herd, it was normal. So long as you tended your herd and followed them everywhere, they were yours. No one claimed any land back at home so why would he here? One simply needed to follow the herd. "Claim territory? Like owning land? That's absurd." The male scoffed at the idea, rolling his eyes, and not taking her seriously. If anyone had actually claimed land back home that would've been a battle waiting. Everyone followed their herds, then merged into one big pack when the herds became one. This was perfect for mating season, as not only the alphas were allowed to breed. It was tradition that any able minded ably bodied wolf that wanted to be a parent could so long as blessed by the alpha pair. That way they would be able to their numbers up for hunting. It made complete sense, but actually laying claim to ones specific place? How peculiar!

"Look lady- he spoke even as she snarled at him-"Whatever you want to think, sure, but could you chill out? I'm just looking for the herd, my family is counting on-" His words cut short as the woman started circling him. She was serious, wasn't she? The man offered a growl of annoyance, standing his ground nonetheless. His tail high and proud, chin tucked to protect his neck, body squared and rooted in hopes of not being knocked down. His ears slid back as the man bared teeth dangerously. "Chill out"

Within moments she was upon him, the man trying to back step and avoid her grasp with no luck. Teeth met his muzzle, her larger frame pressing into his. The man fought being taken down, the process of pulling back causing the woman's tight hold to rake teeth into soft flesh. He could feel the sting and the slight seepage of blood. Growling at the woman he continued to try and get out of her grip, shaking his head, but not offering a counter attack. He didn't want to fight her! He simply wanted to know where he was and if she had seen the herd! Stubborn woman! He had to admit though, the pretty she-wolf was an impressive fighter.

RE: Strange Strangers - Odysseia - Mar 01, 2018

He just wasn't going to give up was he? His words however went for deaf ears, he refused to back down from his dominance so now he would fight for it. Ody snarled though her grip, a warning, this was a dominance hold she let him go of he backed down. But he had other plans. The shaking of his head to try and free himself caused strain to her jaws and moved his muzzle in her grip so that her hold was unformtable and weaker then what was useful for her. Growling in iteration she open her jaws for a second only to try and re gain a fast and more powerfull hold on his muzzle while also aiming to small her chest against his shoulder To try and push him out of balance. A deep rumbling tone from her throat warned him to give up the fight. Her tail wagged high over her back in agrresion and iteration. Adrenalin rushing in her veins and a feeling of power surging through her as the taste of iron filed her mouth from her first grip to his muzzle.

Sorry it is short phone post..

RE: Strange Strangers - Olwen - Mar 01, 2018

(Its okay, I'm phone posting too ♡

Note:4/? fight post)

Owen's main focus at the moment was to get the crazy lady off of him! That's all he wanted! She had drawn blood, wasn't that enough. He growled lowly as if saying get off of me, but his muzzle was clamped shut and he couldn't speak. All he could do was growl menacingly at the silver tipped woman. The sound was deep and passionate, rumbling low and fierce. Was this how all wolf's around here responded to questions? He sure hoped not. He didn't want to fight her, he just wanted her off and to know where the heck he was. *Crazy lady*

Finally she let him go, but came at him again with speed. The man tried to pull back, but teeth latched onto his lips, her larger form barreled him over with a loud yelp. The man had not seen the move coming so he fell beneath her, the woman holding tightly to the side of his face, not quite on his muzzle since he tried to dodge, but instead a painful lock on his lips. He couldn't help a pained whine, fearful eyes looking up. He was growing tired and weak...his focus fading. No, he wouldn't give in. This woman wasn't getting the best of him, he wouldn't fall prey.

Olwen was determined to live, not realizing the woman's true intent, and instincts kicked in. The man moved with adrenaline, pulling back his head with a great force, not thinking of or worrying about possibly ripping his lips. If he managed to free himself from her grip he would rush his head forward to bite her ear with enough force for blood. She had made him bleed, now it was her turn. Hopefully a nice bite would get the woman off.

In case that was not enough his paws moved with him in forceful attempt to push her off of him. He aimed for her shoulders, hoping to deter her. Olwen was on his back, exposed to her, and trying to just get out of the tricky situation alive. He needed her off him! She was insane! Yes, she was an awe impressive fighter, but the man had no interest in being her victim. The only fights he had ever really been in before were brawls between his littermate. Someone always intervened if they became too serious. This...this was crazy.

PP of Olwen aggreed on OOCly with Wild!

Her fangs meet flesh as she managed to grip onto his lip, fangs drawing blood once again as the male, @Olwen pulled his head away. The strong taste of iron exploded in her mouth. It was not an unfamiliar taste, but not one she liked either. And all she meant to do was dominate him, what a mess. Not that she cared, at the given moment Ody's mind was in the fight. Roose's teachings ran in her head. The old man had taught her many things, how to survive, how to stand dominance and how to defend oneself. He had been her teacher, and her friend.

However, the white man did not seem to be giving up instead he moved, finally he attacked back. Had he finally reached the conclusion that he have to win his dominance?

It didn't matter, his ivory fangs come for her and while she did move it wasn't fast enough. He missed her ear, having it tucked made it harder to grab and the motion to move it out of his reach helped. Instead, his fangs buried into her cheek pulling blood as they dug into flesh. Trying to turn her head to regain her hold she failed to realize his paws was moving. And as they hit her she was not prepared. Her balance was lost and she tumbled forth. Body colliding with his her chest and forehead hammering into his so that the sound of his head against the ground echoed in her ears.

Her chest and head hurt, but she got on her legs quickly fear seeping through her. The sound still ringing in her ears she realized he wasn't moving anymore. Eye's widened as she moved to push her nose to his cheek. He was dead, she killed a wolf. But but but... she just wanted him to back down not this.... Tears rolled from her cheeks, "no, no, no, no not this, please by the starts, please." she gasped in between words her nose pressing against his. Air hitting her face, he was breathing dead wolves didn't breath which meant he wasn't dead. Relief washed over her as she flopped back onto her rump. Tears still streaming from her eyes, at least undtil she managed to dry them off with a paw. Feeling her body treble in tiredness for a moment she looked around. How long would he be out? It was going to start getting dark again within a few hours. And she did not really feel comfortable leaving him. Sure he was an ididot but he was out cold. If anyone came around they could rip him open and feed him to the crows.

The spider sighed as she moved a bit away, so she be able to watch him and their sourandings and still react befor anything could get to close to the sleeping ididot.
