Shores of eternity - Daesamar - Mar 01, 2018

Paws crunched through the seemingly ever present snow, the white landscape expanded everywhere. For a moment, the young wolf padding over the snowy trail wondered if this is how life would always be now, into his first winter, what if it never ended? He stepped out from under the treeline, and blinked slowly. White flakes of snow fell slightly from the sky, Daesamar emitted a soft sigh as the snowfall fell against his pelt, dusting the black and silver with a light white.

The snow was the least of his worries though, his silver gaze looked out, the immense lake had been what the pup had been seeking out, and here he found it, the shore resting a few meters away. He sucked in a breath, frozen in shock, before him, along the lake’s icy shore, lumps, strange spheres rested, as if they appeared out of nowhere since the last time he had been this way.

Daesamar made his way down the slightly slope, kicking up more of the icy dust as he eyed the icy boulders, all varying in size and shape, but a distinctive smoothness to them. He approached one tentatively, it was roughly his own size,  raising a paw and rubbing it against the slick cold surface. “Whoa…..” he murmured in awe, the vast landscape all around never ceased to amaze the youth with these strange phenomenal creations.
