RE: Tiny Beautiful Things - Solas - May 07, 2018

The fox was dead and that was their win, until another fox made this one's lair its home. At least, for now, it was gone and neither of their packs had to worry that the red creature would cause them trouble. She mentioned as much and Solas nodded as he glanced at the fox before returning his gaze once more to her. It was a surprise to him at least that no one else from her pack had shown up with all the ruckus.

He weighed his options about staying a bit longer and that gave Cheedo a chance to introduce herself and ask for his name. Solas. He responded simply to her question. He didn't think that she needed to know his last name. Solas waited to see if she was going to ask him any more questions but none came for the time being. I'll be going then Cheedo. The stormy male told her stepping away. She didn't need his help anymore and he didn't want to see any more of the Tarn wolves.

One ear was twisted in her direction as he padded away in case she called out to him. If she didn't he was going to head back home and take a nap and find something to eat from one of the caches before heading out again.

Fading and archiving

They had dispatched the fox and all that was left to do was bury it. It was a task that Cheedo wasn't looking forward to for fear it would bring back memories of having to bury Wraith. She didn't want to remember that day but she also knew she couldn't just leave the creature there to rot right outside the border. She chose not to look at the lifeless body until she would have to after the man left.

She learned his name was Solas which could be helpful later. “It's nice to meet you.” It was anoiece if information she stowed away for later incase she needed it. He was soon enough stating he had to go, she assumed to get back to his pack. “Maybe we will meet again. Thank you for the help Solas. Have a safe trip home.”

With their goodbyes spoken he turned and headed further into the mountain. She turned her attention to the fox Solas was gone. She hoped to get the task done in record time.
