t-t-t-tongues always pressed to your cheeks - Aytigin - Jul 03, 2018

@Yuka only, please.
Aytigin is challenging for his rank.

It had been a while since they formed the pack, and aside from Driftwood being a nuisance, Aytigin had felt like things had settled down for him to be able to challenge his way up through the ranks. He had decided months ago that he would never be lorded over again, and this was going to be his first step up.

The massive wolf padded into a clearing by the water, where they would have plenty of room to battle it out like they needed to be able to, before tipping his head back and howling for the scarred wolf in particular. No one else would be welcome - he didn't need spectators, and he didn't want this to be drawn out any more than it needed to be. It would go quickly, and whoever won would win. It was simple, raw, and straightforward.

His stance was dominant as he waited. There would be no question as to what he wanted from Yuka. If they needed to talk at all, he wanted it to be curt and quick. No disrespect, no backlash, no anger held.

What happened here stayed here.

RE: t-t-t-tongues always pressed to your cheeks - Yuka - Jul 05, 2018

[dohtml]

He was just heading back in from a patrol on the border, to check in with Ellery and his sister to see if they needed anything when the call for him traveled through the lands. The young man felt the need to be even more alert since the incident with Driftwood Surge. What they were thinking, Yuka did not know, but the most important thing to the Left Hand was the safety of his family. A frown tugged on the creamy russet-hued man's face as he turned in the direction of the call, his tail waving behind him. The Thorben was quick to arrive to the scene, his tail raising high above his back and shoulders straightening. His lips were pursed in a thin line as he stared at the dark handsome man in front of him. There was a certain appeal to him, but now was no such time to think of such things. Yuka knew why he was here. A man of few words, the large man perked his ears forward, eyes hard as he stared at the other man, canines bared. It was his move.

RE: t-t-t-tongues always pressed to your cheeks - Aytigin - Jul 06, 2018

I'm underlining Ayti's attacks <3 First one was a hit.

"Sorry 'bout this..." And he was, too. Honestly, these sorts of fights really weren't Ayti's style. He didn't particularly care for rank or status... he just could not be under someone else's control anymore. Besides, he felt as though he wasn't even on Nineva's radar, when he was no doubt the strongest male in the pack. For once, he wanted her attention for something different than for her to look at his appearance. Nin was pretty and all that, but he wasn't attracted to her in that sort of way. He wanted her to see him as an equal.

The dark male wasted no time as he lunged forward in an attempt to slam into Yuka's side and knock the older wolf to the ground. The aim of this fight was not to hurt or injure - simply to get the higher-ranking wolf to submit. And perhaps to treat him to dinner afterward. There were plenty of fish in the lake for Ayti to catch and present to his packmate, after all.

Perhaps they would still be able to be friends. At the very least, maybe Yuka wouldn't hate him.

Yuka's first move was a miss. <3

[dohtml]

These fights weren't really Yuka's kind of thing either. When he entered into battle with his opponent the other party hardly ever left alive. The Left Hand doubted Nineva would appreciate him killing off one of their members nor would it send the best message to the rest of the pack. The russet-hued man's ear flicked in response to his challengers words, watching him closely and waiting for Aytigin to make a move. The Guardian did not have to wait long, thankfully. Though perhaps he should have been more on his guard and not so caught up in taking in his opponents appearance, because as he tried to sidestep the younger man's attack, the brown man slammed into his shoulder, causing Yuka to grunt and lose his balance, sidestepping again quickly to regain it.

He would not be the first to cause injury, especially if it was not his challenger's intent. Instead, Yuka turned promptly and similar to how Aytigin had attacked, attempted to body slam into the man's shoulder, aiming to knock him off his feet. This was definitely not the Thorben's strong suit, use to other methods and tactics during a scrimmage. None the less, he would not break an honorary code by raising tooth nor claw if his pack mate did not choose to do so first.

RE: t-t-t-tongues always pressed to your cheeks - Aytigin - Oct 03, 2018

// Aytigin's second move was a miss ^^

Ayti was relieved and thankful that his opponent did not seem to want to fight tooth and claw either. Yeah, he thought idly, he'd really like to treat Yuka to dinner afterward. Perhaps they could get to know one another better - maybe even be friends. Though he had to admit the older wolf was easy on the eyes - even the scars added to his appearance and gave him this asymmetrical charm.

Maybe he shouldn't be analyzing his opponent's attractiveness at that moment.

Later. At dinner.

Yuka's attack wasn't easy to dodge, but Ayti managed to duck and sidestep just in time to avoid being thrown to the ground. He attempted to shove upward beneath the older man's flank to perhaps knock him to the ground. His entire goal was to pin him down and hold him there - make him submit. He wouldn't use fangs.

Yuka's second move was a miss.

[dohtml]

Yuka could already feel himself getting bored. As time dragged on, the russet-hued man found himself having to be reminded that Aytigin was a packmate and no enemy that Yuka could just sink his canines into and be done with. He wasn't sure if Nineva would find that comical or down right wrong. Probably the later. His opponent skillfully dodged his attack and Yuka would be lying if he didn't admit that he wasn't annoyed in that moment that his attempt failed. Aytigin was quick to retaliate but the Thorben was also quick on his paws. As soon as the creamy russet-hued male saw his younger counter-parts upwards motion, he was quick to spring back, balancing on his feet before using his weight to lunge forward again to try to shove into the younger man's shoulder. Ideally, this would froce him down and into submission. Yuka tired of playing games.

RE: t-t-t-tongues always pressed to your cheeks - Aytigin - Oct 10, 2018

// Aytigin’s third move was a miss as well.

The Delaney wasn’t much of a fighter, but he was strong and he could fight if necessary. And, apparently, he could dodge. Now that his shoulder wasn’t fucked up, and he wasn’t sick, he was back at 100%, and that mostly showed in his ability to dodge the attacks thrown at him. That, and the initial hit, of course. But he and Yuka were both slow, and so it was normal for a lot of their attacks to miss. They were just easy to dodge.

This wasn’t a game. While the end result wouldn’t be death or even real damage, Ayti was serious. He growled as he rolled to the side and avoided the attack, going in low again to try and hit his legs. If all went well, he could knock him to the ground and pin him.

Pinning him down was the end goal.

RE: t-t-t-tongues always pressed to your cheeks - Yuka - Oct 15, 2018

Yuka's third move was a miss.

[dohtml]

Despite both being large men, they were both adequate at dodging the other's advances. It made Aytigin an admirable opponent and almost made Yuka want to fight him tooth, claw, and all - to see what it would really be like to go against a man of his stature. Such thoughts would need to be saved for later because Aytigin was coming for him again. The Thorben side-stepped his pack mate's low sweep, a growl slipping passed his lips. The creamy, russet hued male did not want to be malicious with his actions, but the longer he danced around with Aytigin, the quicker his pulse raced and the more he wanted to do damage. With purpose, he threw most of his weight in the direction of the large male, hoping to pin him down this time, but knowing that if he missed, his stamina wouldn't hold out for much longer.

RE: t-t-t-tongues always pressed to your cheeks - Aytigin - Oct 18, 2018

// Ayti’s fourth move was a hit.

This was lasting far too long. Not only was Ayti becoming tired, he could tell his opponent was getting more and more aggressive - which was not something he wanted. This boxing match was one thing, but if it actually came down to it, both of them could do quite serious damage to one another.

Yuka threw himself at Aytigin with more force than the younger wolf had seen from him before, but the recklessness made it easy to dodge. He did manage to duck down, avoiding the sweep, and then made a last attempt to launch hard at Yuka from beneath. His forelegs were outstretched and a snarl slipped from his own lips as he tried to wrestle the other massive wolf down so that he could pin him into submission.

RE: t-t-t-tongues always pressed to your cheeks - Yuka - Oct 21, 2018

Not only was Yuka becoming tired, but he was also getting angry. The russet-hued brute's reckless move was what most likely cost him the challenge. Their dance did not last for much longer. While he was trying to get his breathing under control, the next thing he remember was his head being pressed into the ground. Yuka's lips pulled back into a snarl and his eyes dilated. His breath was shallow, a low growl, when he spoke, "This is pointless. You can have my rank, I don't care, but get off me." The Thorben was flushed from beind in such proximity with another without actually shedding blood. He could almost hear his heart pounding in his ears - probably from adrenaline. The best he would do to appease Aytigin in terms of submission was flatten his ears atop his head.
