It comes and goes - Treyah - Jul 21, 2018 I was thinking maybe the kids might want to pinch her meal out from under her nose? (Happens more often here than I'd like to admit). Tags for @Aquaria @Scorpius @Zale and @Arcus but AW

Treyah had hardly slept the whole time the children had been missing. She was beside herself, a failure already before she's even really started. The exhaustion stayed with her once they were home, too afraid to close her eyes for long in case they slipped away again. She owed the mountain wolves, that much she knew without a doubt, but when she would get around to repaying them, well she wasn't quite sure. Even now, as she fought to keep her eyes open, the broken body of a hare resting between her paws, she wasn't sure she could bring herself to eat. The oppressive heat was working it's magic, the children were [/dohtml] RE: It comes and goes - Zale - Aug 11, 2018 [dohtml] [/dohtml] RE: It comes and goes - Treyah - Sep 14, 2018 [dohtml] turn your face towards the sun
Movement across her paws, the gentle insistent tug, it was enough to bring the Tainn's eyes to open a crack. At first she thought the black blob might be @Aquaria, but it quickly became evident that this was Nauja's boy. The edge of her lip quirked upwards, her paws drawing together ever so slightly as she reached out sleepily to gently grasp one of the hare's legs and give it a gentle tug, trying to entice the boy into a game with a quiet, playful growl bubbling at the back of her throat, knowing it would be all the more rewarding a prize if he felt he had properly earned it. When the child tugged so forcefully, the leader allowed her grip to slip ever so slightly, and made a show of holding on as she slowly applied pressure backwards with another growl of her own. She tried to look concerned that she might lose her meal to a pup, but that wouldn't keep the silent laugh from shining behind her eyes, or the way they crinkled in the corner in an obvious smile. Truthfully, she was barely older than a child herself and this felt far more natural to her than patrolling the borders or giving out commands. There was a peace amongst the chaos of these children. She finally felt like just maybe, everything could be okay again. Let the shadows fall behind you

[dohtml]Playing with her brother was only fun for so long. Eventually the fun turned into competition and Aquaria just wasn't quite feeling like competing to be the better Leigh-Tainn today. As all siblings did at one point, the duo began to squabble which resulted in the young girl storming off in search of either parent to rant about the newest episode of sibling drama. Determined paws stomped their way towards the den to seek out mom, knowing well she rarely traveled away from it since Arcus and Scorpius returned from their little adventure. Which, yes, Aqua was still upset she wasn't invited to go too. A few more stomps and Aqua halted in her tracks with the loudest, most offended gasp a little pup could make. Mama was playing with someone else! The black ball of fluff watched as Zale and mother played a game of tug-o-war with what looked like the body of a hare, eyes widening by the second as the anger she had previously felt towards her brother transformed into awe at how strong the other black pup was. He was actually winning! Against mama! Whoa. She wanted in on the fun too! |
