To the young Archer's surprise he was far more successful with his impact then he had hoped for, causing her to fall back into her spine, wind knocked from her as she quickly moved to get up again. In those seconds he readied himself, legs squared and bent slightly, ready to leap out of the way. As she charged, long and limber legs bounded, dodging out of the way with just enough time to avoid her grip on him. That was close.

He retaliated, following her side step as his body arced around, jaws widening to catch the flesh of the side of her scruff into his mouth and bite down, holding her there as he began placing her into his submission, wondering if she would fight and hold it fall before him. As a further sign of his dominance over her, his tail lifts high in the air, the hairs along his spine standing on end as a snarl vibrates up from his throat.

He was much quicker than she would have given him credit for. Turning his body just so, the male was able to grab hold of the side of her neck. The instant of pain was fleeting as adrenaline pumped through her body like fire, yet she could feel the warm, wet sensation of blood running down her skin beneath her fur.

Still, she wasn't shit out of luck just yet; they two were nearly the same size, and she just so happened to be a little heavier. Leaning away from her attacker just enough to be able to use her weight, she positioned her body to then shoulder it into his, giving her enough leeway to crane her neck and jaws around to clench them down into his flesh of his chest. With her tail arched high over her back in defiance, she shook what she could in an attempt to do as much damage as possible while she still could.

He could feel his teeth sinking into the thick flesh of her neck, a taste of blood filling his jaws as they punctured the skin there beneath plush tawny fur. He wondered, had she not been so snarky in her words to him (or so he took it) if they could have avoided this all together. Though granted the packs that they were in it seemed very unlikely. They were nearly destined to be enemies now.

Lost in his success of his hold and deciding his next move, she throws the weight of herself into him and snatches the front of his chest the best she could given the position he held her in. Another loud growl echoed up from his throat and his chest burned at she bit down and shook, tearing at for and flesh. Likely however, harming herself more as he held the side of her fluffy neck.

With a final attempt to push her into submission, he heaves his upper half forward and down, to press her face into the muddy creek side and pin her under his weight (or try to granted their similar builds) until she accepted defeat.

The taste of blood pooling in her mouth was actually not at all satisfying. She was increasingly short of breath and it pooled beneath her tongue and down her throat as she held her hold on the flesh of his chest as long as she could - which wasn't long at all. Before she knew it, he'd pressed his weight into her, down from up top, and her grip failed and she was left to find her face sinking into the mud.

She wriggled, squirming from her compromised position, and it only served to worsen the damage his hold on her neck had already done. Unable to catch a breath as mud began to ooze over her nose, panic set it. She had to get out of here, and she had to do it now if she was going to survive this. With the last of her strength, Lyanna anchored her feet into the ground and managed to shove him up and finally off of her. Without wasting even a second to look at him or anything else, she took off into the forest in an escape that was the closest call she'd ever had.
