First task - Helen - Sep 30, 2018

OOC: All welcome. Perhaps a wolf from Driftwood Surge.

Helen returned to the borders of the pack's territory, this time as a new member of the pack. A soft smile was plastered on her snout. She was successful in her attempt to join a pack, much to her relief. Helen couldn't have imagined what would happen if she wasn't, perhaps she would have been torn into pieces. But no, she was accepted! Deep in heart, she now bore a sense of pride for her new family. At the same time, she had so many questions in her mind. What even is my pack's name? Helen had no idea, and she was burning to find the answer. Perhaps she should have plucked up the courage earlier, and asked the leader.

However, this was no time to ponder over such matters. She had been assigned her first task to prove herself - bring something back to the caches before nightfall. It was Helen's chance to prove herself, and maybe be promoted to another rank sooner. Lowering her head, Helen inhaled deeply, hoping to chance upon a scent trail leading to a prey.

RE: First task - Leith - Oct 01, 2018

There was a new scent in the territory, a new wolf and boy was he excited. He wondered what this one would be like. It wasn’t often they got new additions, ones who didn’t know of his...antics. It was the perfect opportunity to do a little toying. And, he’d heard his father mention something about the wolf being ranked lowest. This made it all the better, because, really, how could a lowest refuse even a pup?

He followed the scent of the female out a little past the borders, finding her sniffing along the ground probably attempting to find some food. “Hey. You th’ new girl?” he called out, plastering a friendly grin on his face. Show time.

Mhm, a snow hare? Much to Helen's delight, she discovered a scent trail of what she assumed was left behind by a rabbit. She sniffed the ground once more just to make sure, before lifting her head. Before she could head off in search of her potential prey, she was interrupted by a voice. Stunned, Helen swivelled her head to see a young boy looking in her direction. The alabaster-furred pup was smiling, a friendly grin which Helen adored. The new, strong scent in the air told her that the boy was definitely from her pack. "Yeah," she replied, a soft smile spreading across her snout. As a newbie to the family, she had never met anyone else in her pack before, except the leader of course.

Instead of being annoyed, Helen was surprised to find herself rather excited about meeting the pup. Helen had so many questions about her pack, but she thought that it was best not to fire all of them at the poor boy. She would keep them for later. "What are you doing out here?" she asked out of simple curiosity. "The name's Helen, what's your's?"
