The young Archer liked to think she was getting better at slipping away, something like she was faster, and trickier than the adults. Truth be told, they were probably less worried now that she was all legs and ears, far more difficult to be carried off, and it wasn't like they wouldn't hear her if someone tried it. She was a noisy child, all shouts and snarls and misplaced confidence. It was probably why she had stayed out long past her curfew, prowling up and down now familiar hunting trails, watching as a halo ringed the fat moon that hung low in the sky before it was obscured by the clouds that sat just above the horizon. An adult might have expected the sudden downpour. Sedna, who had been in a perfectly jolly mood up until that point, had not. So she tucked herself between the roots of a cedar tree to wait it out, silver eyes squinting against the rain and early evening gloom. If the steadiness of the rain was anything to go off, she was in for a bit of a wait. So she made herself comfortable with a huff and a sigh, trying not to dwell on what the water might do to wash her trail, and the track she had been following away with the slowly building breeze. the gloves are comin' off
