A thousand years (M) - Tulip - Nov 04, 2018

M for Tulip's injuries. All welcome, feel free to hop on in!))

Lemon eyes slowly begun to peak open into thin slits as light filtered through the trees. A snowflake caught her attention as it fell as if in slow motion. It danced and spun, rather large in comparison to it companions. She watched as it landed on her nose to melt, her muzzle crinkling as she let out a quiet sneeze that shook her sore body. Tulip was curled against the rough bark of an old tree, tucked into her own makeshift bed of dug up dirt. She smelt of animal dung and the forest she took refuge in. Her earthly stench blending in with that of her surroundings spare for the faint metallic hint of blood. Despite all efforts of masking herself she could not keep the wounds from tearing open and seeping. Her cuts would ooze with blood and puss, scabs along them breaking open with even careful movements. Her ear dangled limply to her right, deep bite marks scattered throughout her thick winter belt.

It hurt to move, to breath. Tulip wasn't sure how long she had been laying here, how long she would continue to. Her body was exerted from fighting, tumbling down jagged rocks, and running. She was worn down to a shadow of her own shadowy self. New scars that had not previously been on her body now laid claim to her flanks in thick ugly lines. She was quite a horror to see now, and if not for her small size one might have mistaken the girl for a warrior. No, Tulip was no warrior, but a damaged spirit. She wasn't even sure how she had managed to make it this far...but every time she thought of giving up and letting the world take her, she thought of him. She thought of being next to @Solas . Of being safe and sound.

With hunger gnawing at her the small wolf rose to her paws, only to come crashing back down with a yelp. How much longer could she go on like this? Could she truly fight this? Was death knocking on her doorsteps? Would she ever seen @Moonshadow and @Kajika again?
