They were chittering about something between the two of them. Kajika had been watching the two birds across from the main den for the better part of the last two minutes. He still had yet to figure out what had upset them but he had no desire to interrupt it to try and catch one of them.

The dark male didn't have much desire to do much of anything that day beside lay in the patch of sun that he'd found. It warmed him and with the chill in the air he was thankful for it.

Harsh weather was coming, he'd been on the mountain long enough to know. They would need to prepare but that wasn't the day. As he rolled onto his side watching those birds from a different angle he decided he could hunt the next day.
