Left out - Dunkan - Feb 10, 2021

[dohtml]

A big wolf walked through the lake's edge with his typical cold expression in place, confident he moved with his tail handling down relaxed and his ears switching around just to check on his surroundings. There wasnt any wrong with being extra aware of his space, being in tune with any potential threats but also for potential prey. He was always prepared for anything, ready to defend himself but also to take any chances to feed before night. And the sun was slowly descending to the line that divided the skies with the lands. And that meant he needed to find food and a place to sleep, and even though he wasnt afraid or anything he still wasnt a fool to risk himself out late.

After a while when the darkness was slowly settling in, he approached the lake to have a drink but again he was in high alert for any easy prey or a foe.

RE: Left out - Rochus - Feb 10, 2021

With the sky beginning to darken, Rochus made his way over to the scent of water, hoping to quench his thirst before night truly set in. The tiredness in his mind from what those creatures had to to him had finally begun to dissipate, and with it his mind began to think about what he would do now. He was seemingly alone, not having found anyone else from the Estuary pack, and he growled softly to himself. All those years of planning and biding his time were wasted; he would have to come up with a new plan once he explored around and got a feel for the lands and the wolves residing in it.

His paws took him to the edge of an immensely large sized lake, and after squinting in the dim light levels he spotted a large form partway down the lakeside bank. Far enough away that he was not too worried about whoever it was - as after scenting the air he picked up the musk of wolf - but still close enough that he kept his attention on them as he dipped his head down to drink.  Rochus was not exactly in the mood to converse with a stranger, but it was a good idea to get to know the locals just a bit.
