Well if you wanted honesty that's all you had to say

The day had come, the beginnings of the herd’s migration. He’d watched from the hilltop as they’d one by one began to trickle northward like a babbling brook. The air was alight with moos and bugles from them as they began to move and he was quick to his paws, turning and taking off at a lope toward the area they’d deemed to be their little nesting spot, where’d they’d been convening every night. They’d slowly gotten more and more comfortable with each other, growing closer in their distance until they found themselves frequently smooshed together in a pile of warm fur. He found himself throwing elbows in the mornings to push a snoring wolf off of him so he could rise, shaking off the snow from his pelt that had fallen in the night. It was a nice, albeit slightly annoying, routine.

Once he reached the clearing he tilted his head back, releasing a howl into the air for their little band to reconvene. It was time to get a move on before their meal source left without them. It would feel good to explore a new place and get their legs really moving.

RE: Sound the Bugle - Saga - Feb 16, 2021

[dohtml]

Saga was quick to respond to Hudson's call, having just returned from a 'patrol' around the Orchard, if exploring the land's features could actually be classified as any sort of patrol. They had no intentions of settling here, so besides making sure that there weren't any weirdos trying to sneak up on them, or steal any of the perfunctory caches they'd hastily dug in the snow to conceal small prey, there wasn't much she planned on doing if she actually ran into someone.

Hudson never called unless something important was happening, so the woman remained on her paws as she entered the clearing, her questioning gaze falling upon his inky form. At least from the lack of new scents, she was able to eliminate the possibility of a new addition to their group. "What's going on?"

RE: Sound the Bugle - Rhaegara - Feb 20, 2021

[dohtml]

Admittedly, Rhaegara was ready to get a move on. Her paws were itching for an adventure and she was certain that she had explored almost all of what the Orchard had to offer. At the noise rattling her ears, Huddy’s call, she perked up, quickly making her way towards it. She still wasn’t sure how she felt about the group that she and Adelard had found, but they were starting to grow on her… a little bit. They seemed decent enough at least, and made for good company. Beside that, they were warmth in the cold winter and she would dare say friends to hunt with.

She arrived, saying nothing as she was often quiet. Her head tilted to the side in a questioning manner, silently asking why they had all been called for. She stayed on her paws, her tail slowly swaying from side to side in contentment before she chose to take her seat. It appeared the others had not yet arrived, and she knew neither Huddy or Saga all that well, though that was mostly her own fault. She didn’t ask about other people so they wouldn’t ask about her. It was a nice little arrangement if she were honest.
