The Backwater hadn't had the... best start. Two litters, a ruined cache, Vayko's injuries, and the beginning of what was hopefully just symptoms of an infection. Already it felt like too much, and yet her sides continued to swell, and her appetite continued to decline. It wasn't that she felt sick, per se, and really the woman wasn't sure whether it was the cubs or stress doing it, but either way the thought of food put her off.

In an attempt to get away from the struggles of pack life, and whatever else was going on, the pale woman made her way outside the borders, finding a nice sunny spot where she could be alone with her thoughts.
