Support System - Nash - Aug 12, 2021
Late afternoon 8/11, broken cloud cover, warm. For @Aleister part of Charity Chain from Chan
It took Nash a little longer than he intended to get to Aleister, but he wanted to make sure he had something good for him. Finally, after a long afternoon of waiting, he caught a late summer fawn that strayed too far from its mother. It wasn't large, and given how late in the year it had been born even Nash knew it likely wouldn't have survived the winter anyway. At least now it wouldn't starve.
He was able to drag it the distance to the small den he knew Aleister was staying at while he recovered and as he approached he dropped the fawn long enough to give a short bark to announce his presence before approaching the rest of the way. "Hey Al," he called. "If you're up for some food, I brought a fawn. Wanted to check in on ya." He hoped he hadn't caught the man napping or otherwise at a bad time. He hadn't gotten to chat with him in a while.
