The scent of beaver was strong which meant to Sharlee that thyme were home. Coming nearer to the dam she wondered just how many were in there. The tawny Valle walked around scenting the ground and air for any clue that might answer her question. She was aware of how big a beaver was so what if she could bring one back to the cache?
Her thoughts of how she might accomplish this goal were racing. Her eyes were sharp as she watched of any signs there might be a beaver out and about. Easy pickings she hoped but knew that wasn't usually the case. Sharlee stepped into the water upto her wrists hoping to get a better look at what was going on.
