Chan wasn't liking how unstable the snow had been as of late. Thankfully, no slides had occurred within the pack's territory - yet. He hated to think of the dangers, but they were hard to ignore when while tracking a herd in the valley's south, he and they all encountered a swathe of toppled trees and insurmountable snow, blocking one of the paths to Riddle Heights.
The deer had moved on, but Chan remained, glaring at the mounds of snow and rock and broken conifers. What was going on, why was everything shifting so much? As though by studying the ruin he might be able to come up with an answer...
