She felt alive. Sure, she had wanted to wander and have a grand adventure, but the truth was that this felt like the grand adventure she had wanted.

Especially when she brushed back into Scully's own monochrome fur. Running her nose along the side of his neck in fellow fondness. She would not have done nearly anything had it not been for him.

Her tail swung in wide crescents as she listened to Avella, happy to offer the woman a wide smile and a small chirp of encouragement. She would make a wonderful Queen. The princess was certain of it.

She'd arrive on the tail end of Avella's words, offering a wide toothy grin to any who looked her way. She recognized...most of them. Avella, Scully and Moore. No clue about the small lady at Scully's side or the bearish man who wasn't Moore. Nor the russet man.

Huh. She should...probably show face more instead of tangling with the others. Whatever. There would definitely be all the time in the world for that. Especially now that they seemed to make their claim official.

"Is 'bout time!" She barked out with good nature intentions. Anybody who had spent a lick of time around her would know such.

RE: What was once ours is now ours once again - Moore - Feb 22, 2022

As Avella spoke, he couldn't stop the swell of pride and joy from flooding his chest. This was truly it then. It was official. Not that being 'official' would have made that much of a difference to him; they were a band regardless, and he would have stood by their sides even in the event a pack fell through. Even so, Moore had to admit it felt nice to be a part of it.

He greeted Avella at the end of her speech and dipped his head in respect, the corners of his eyes crinkled with his broad smile. She was a good leader, a shocking thought coming from him. Perhaps because she felt less like an authoritative figure and more like a friend and ally. "Thanks, Avella, for everything." When Scully made the rounds to each of them, the playful nip the monochrome wolf gave was returned with an equally playful nip to the ear.

Gazing around at the rest of the pack, he didn't quite recognize the monochrome wolf near Scully, and didn't know Alarick well yet, but regardless he flashed both a smile, appreciative that they were there. Perhaps he'd get the chance to know them in the future. He was sure to bump the crown of his head against Hagars' shoulder, making certain his close friend knew how much he appreciated him and the time spent with him. And as Queenies' voice rang out, he couldn't stop himself from bounding over to her and bumping shoulders with her, tail waving in wide arcs behind him.

RE: What was once ours is now ours once again - Alarick - Feb 23, 2022

As Avella spoke, thanking her sibling first, and then the rest of them - it was clear how impactful this moment was to everyone Alarick could currently see gathering around. While he could not be sure if this place would be his home forever, and did not quite feel deserving to share in the level of pride shown by the others, the moment was still a joyous one. To see these various individuals come together in something they had likely worked at and bonded over, was encouraging and uplifting.

”Congratulations to both of you. You deserve this.” Al spoke to the siblings, issuing a nod to each of them, before shuffling back to observe. It was their dream that had caused this, bringing life and a sense of belonging back to their birthplace, and no words could appropriately express how happy Alarick felt for Scully and Avella. As long as he was here, he hoped to serve them, and everyone else, to the fullest of his ability.

RE: What was once ours is now ours once again - Avella - Feb 23, 2022

This will be the third and last round everyone.

Avella was ecstatic that she had finally accomplished her goal of creating a pack and now claiming Willow Ridge as their home. She was also happy that she could follow through on the promises that she'd made to those wolves that had joined her. The last thing she'd wanted to do was let them down. A wide smile was across her face when Scully congratulated her, "You're the best brother a girl could ask for," she told pressing her head into his neck.

He then winked at her and moved to greet the others. Avella remained to give her first speech. She wanted to make sure they all knew that she was happy to have them there with her.

Hagar came right up to her and delivered a single lick to her chin. She smiled but then brushed her muzzle against his. Then she moved to Nightingale brushing her muzzle. When she reached queenie she smiled, "You are absolutely right. It is about time," she said before brushing her muzzle against the woman's.

Moore was next his words touching jet, "You're very welcome and thank you," she spoke appreciatively before brushing her muzzle against his and then moving to Alarick she smiled, "Thank you!," she expressed and before doing the same to him as she had the others. "Now, please go and celebrate let the lore know that this is our home."

RE: What was once ours is now ours once again - Scully - Feb 27, 2022

Queenie appeared in short enough order, her voice grabbing his attention. He shot her a toothy grin, taking a few steps toward her and Moore before pausing as Alarick addressed both him and his sister. An appreciative nod of acknowledgement was given to the man before full-moon eyes returned to his siblings features. She had greeted the others as well, and now dismissed them to laud their achievement. He let out another quick, triumphant howl in response before finishing those strides toward his friends.

He greeted Queenie with a headbutt and gave Moore a playful shove, showing his teeth once more. It was time to party and play, if anyone else was down for it.

RE: What was once ours is now ours once again - Hagar - Feb 27, 2022

Hagar met Moore's gesture with closed eyes and a wagging tail, happy this had seemed to work out so well for all of them. The others were clearly elated with their accomplishment, and deservingly so in his opinion, as Avella marked them all with a tender touch to their maws.

Now, please go and celebrate, she encouraged, and his green eyes bounced around the gathered faces. Scully let out another howl, and Hagar gave his own warbling growl to briefly back it. He would wait to see what the others wanted to get up to, specifically wondering how their alpha herself would choose to bask.

This was the most comradery she had felt since leaving her home behind. It was good, it was a kind feeling. Not the type of thing Queenie typically indulged.

She'd bump and brush with anybody who neared her, actual queen included. Her idea of partying on their claim was pretty crude though. It was time to go extra mark the borders. Really solidify things. She'd offer a whooping howl before heading out that way. The waving banner of her tail hopefully invitation enough for anybody to come join her.

Nightingale was out of her depth, but in the best way possible.

Her own voice warbled out like songbird tones a few times, on and off. A pulse. Much like the life that now rooted in the willows once more. She had never felt more certain to be somewhere.

She'd bound after Scully, but soon enough dropped into a play bow near all the others too. Keen to make more friends now that they were all bounded by pack allegiance.
