shake shake, shake shake, a-shake it - Hellhound - Mar 01, 2022

Back on the coast to coast life

& You know I live for the hustle

Hellhound had made the decision that he had seen almost everything that he wanted to see before he headed back to the coast. He had found the old ridge, and the pookastone, and his cousins. All well and good, he should be satisfied with his little walk about. But, there was one more thing that had always been discussed when talking about the lands of Relic; the romance. Now, Hellhound was not one to settle down, and he was not looking for anything serious but, he could stand to get rid of his spring itch.

Plus they had never managed to raid their nearby cousins. Maybe he could knock out two birds with one stone so to speak. So he was skulking around this morning, far enough from the borders that he would sound the alarms, but close enough he could keep a general eye on things. Worst comes to worst, he plays dumb, pleads to be let into the pack like the good cousin he was. Takes himself a husband or wife for the night, fills his belly and then gets out of there.

What a good night that would be.

She prickled with spring irritation.

It inspired her to be a bit of a bully, more so than usual. So when she spotted the lone man a little ways off of their borders she would let her ego get the best of her. Tail flagged high behind her offering a wafting of spring perfume. Hackles prickled with delight at the sight of a challenge.

Which, for the record, this guy didn't even seem like a threat but Queenie was being Queenie.

So she'd false charge at him. Her body didn't speak of aggression so much as it did her actual intent — rough housing the lone male.

He was beginning to feel a little drowsy as he waited for something, anything really to happen. He would close his eyes for a minute, maybe two, maybe twenty, and then he would take his post back up, what’s the worst that could happen? No sooner had his eyes closed then they popped back open as an enticing scent swept through the area. Peach eyes swept the willows around him until they fell on a woman barrelling towards him.

He had been in this situation just recently, but this felt different. This was no man trouncing towards him screaming, and there was no aggressive posture in this, it felt…flirtatious in some way. Leaping to his paws, his tail quivered in anticipation, leaping out of the way of her charge at the last possible second. Barking after her, Hellhound sunk into a pouncing position, ready for her to turn around.
