RE: the distance in your eyes - Kateri - Oct 01, 2022

Kateri was on the edge of her seat so to speak to find out what happened to Neander and his family. They had to be so scared because the sun was chasing them. She couldn't take this not knowing. Her eyes hadn't left Viorwl in the moments of the story that had her so worried about the family. She certainly wasn't expecting what happened next. She didn't think the sun would feel bad for scaring the family since he'd lost a piece of himself.

She really wasn't expecting what happened next. The sun made Neander the wind. "Oh my goodness," she exclaimed so very surprised by what happened. Then she became sad, "Neander can't be with his family anymore." She couldn't imagine not being with her family.

RE: the distance in your eyes - Eros - Oct 19, 2022

Yeah, there it was. A not-so-good kind of ending. Eros' ears leaned back into his thick nape, not sure at all how that left him feeling. Neander basically got banished, and while had he been just a few months old Eros would have thought the idea of becoming wind to be some kind of super power all he could now think was how awful that would be. Trapped, never resting, just a distant sound to everyone you loved...

It was harsh. Kateri seemed down about it too, and Eros felt moved to lift her spirits again. He leaned in to give her shoulder a nudge and grinned.

"Yeah but I bet he got to see the whole world, think how fast wind can move!"

Then his peach eyes jumped to Vi, and his tail gave the ground a few friendly thumps.

"Thanks for the story, Dad."
