The last month had certainly been a trip, and Viorel had not even gone anywhere. Still, it had been a whirlwind of his children and sister being gone and then having three extra pups to care for when they came back. To top it all off they were at the beginning of spring season, which meant hormones were alight and the leader wanted to go back to chasing his wife around.

Plus, Viorel wanted the Cove children as far away as possible when they started asking questions about what was going on with all the women. Those were questions he barely understood himself if he was being honest.

Coming into the grove that they had met both times before, Viorel grinned when he realized he had gotten there first again. Seeing that he had always been the slowest of hig age of Valles it felt nice to win a race once in a while, even if it was an unofficial one. Now they would just need to wait until everyone arrived and they could finalize the exchange. That, and Viorel was hoping to use this as an event to formalize their allieship with Sanguine Cove.

RE: long-distance relationships - Sharlee - Mar 16, 2022

It was time for the cove wolves to return to the mountain. It had been nice having them in the backwater. Like before Sharlee had accompanied the group to the Grove to help get the pups where they needed to go. She felt that it was part of her job though she felt her brother should be there too. He was after all one of the leaders of the backwater and should probably meet the neighbors.

Having the pups in the backwater left the Valle woman with this emotion she hadn't figured out. It had been nagging at her for a little while but now she felt like it was shouting at her. She hadn't put her paw on it yet.

She couldn't think about it then since there were pups to look after. She had to be at the top of her game. The last thing they wanted was something to happen to then as they were sending them back. So once they reached the meeting place she found a spot to sit and watch over the youngsters while they waited.

Archer Valle

It had been a wild month, that was for sure. Archer wasn't really the adventurous type - beyond chasing after Eros - but he found he'd quite enjoyed his time making friends with his neighbors. Even the unexpected arrival of the third pack had turned out okay, even if they had weird and dangerous habits. He still didn't think he'd be much into ice skating going forward.

He wasn't going back up the mountain, but Archer did join the return party to at least escort the Cove pups back to the meeting point. He'd grown kind of fond of @Kateri in particular; she was nice and didn't mind just hanging out. He wished he'd spent more time getting to know the Cove wolves and less skulking around while they were there. Maybe he could go up for a visit on his own soon, since it was starting to warm up and winter's dangers would make the mountain more bearable.

"I don't envy your climb," he said to the departing children, eyeing the distant mountain and recalling his own first ascent. No wonder his Da didn't like going up there.
