mature for breeding season implications

There was another way to avoid nosy men who wished to proclaim fatherhood.

To lay with multiple men. Nobody would know if she bore a child that was not theirs. Perhaps it would look like neither. Perhaps it would look like both. Who was she to say? Who was she to know if there would even be another child this spring?

Once more she stirred like a serpent across the plateau, hunger in every inch of her body language. Another rattling call for company of man, one last cheer to the season she despised.

She wished it was over soon.

RE: [m] boiling - Hagar - Mar 29, 2022

He was starting to wonder where Scully had gotten off to, and found himself nosing his way closer and closer to the pass. When the song first caught his attention, he half expected it to be the Archer brother. Instead, it was a woman in need. He shook out his coat, and headed off, his lumbering form moving at a relatively quick pace.

When he saw her, he felt there was little need for words. Hagar made to approach, ears and tail both up in the air, a bright interest in his beryl eyes.

Traversing the mountain, a siren call rang through the air pausing him in his movements before he headed in the direction with a lick of his jowls. Another welcoming woman seeking company and he was happy to oblige. Approaching carefully, his emerald gaze fell upon her body as his gaze regarded her carefully. His lumbering form closed the distance between them until there was only a few yards left as he waited for another signal from the woman just as another male showed up. Now this was interesting...

Another. Once more healthy and strong.

"You won't be a father to them." She demanded this of him. There was no room for complaints or hesitation, just as there had not been for the last. "This is for me." Gaze settled upon him, hard and sharp. This song and dance had been done recently enough that it felt a bit like repeating a script.

And then another...

Well, well. It seemed as if they would either need to duke it out, or he would need need to wait his turn. She huffed, warily to him, then fixed herself upon the dark stranger.

RE: [m] boiling - Hagar - Mar 29, 2022

Hagar was only distracted by Zavier's musk when the other man approached, mossy eyes looking to see if the other meant to be aggressive about the situation. The feminine stranger's words did not shake him in the slightest, his head even canting lightly in wonder at why she felt the need to proclaim it. From where he came from, it was always a woman's choice alone what happened with the children that came from springtime coupling.

"Of course," he answered simply, then looked to Zavier once more, tail wagging in a welcoming manner. Hagar knew how to play with two. Unless the other made a move to stop him, he would focus on Kisina and approach with the intent of soothing her heat.

Catching her words just barely before he showed up, he was pleased to hear them, though his emerald gaze looked over towards the other male to see what he was all about. Would he want to duke it out or settle on something more civil? Zavier was a patient man and could wait his turn rather than spill blood over a clearly willing woman. His gaze settled upon the other male to see what his next move was going to be.

His welcoming nature sent a smirk to line his ebony lips as his banner waved against his hocks, his own emerald gaze moving back to the woman, giving her a nod of understanding to her words. Zavier wasn't here to be a father to a child, not in the slightest. But he was willing to cure her heat. Bowing his head in slightest direction at the male, he pointed his paw out towards the woman as if to say after you.

All men seemed far too eager, too willing. But she paid it no mind. The course had been set for what she wanted — and if they went back on their agreement to this arrangement, she would see them paying for it.

She swore to become unbending to the stupidity of another man.

So both of them would be welcomed, muddling the gene pool all the further for any potential future children.
