Aquene had been living in her own little world, a child once more nestled at her belly for her to dote over, this one seemingly a little less rambunctious than her older siblings. Perhaps it was the affect of being a single child… she recalled that Kateri had been much of the same way.

Diligently, after she had eaten and Eclypse had fully nursed she licked the girl’s fur clean. It had been a steady routine, between feeding and tending to the child who was already beginning to grow more curious of the world around her… it would not be long before she’d take her first steps outside of the den… a moment that Aquene always relished in.

She would let out a short call, asking for someone. It did not matter who, for they were all her family… but she needed to get out, to stretch her legs, and having another adult present might ensure that Eclypse didn’t get into too much trouble.
