ring ring, hello hello - Magg - Jul 15, 2023
Magg and @Leo are here as representatives of Sanguine Cove. All welcome, but looking for leadership- @Jethro & Flair
It had taken a bit longer than she had expected to journey to this other pack, especially when the wildfire smoke set in. At times it hazed their vision, and always it burned her nose and throat. Magg found herself tiring a touch more quickly after it came, and she worried perhaps it was here to stay, their next hurdle in this life. She missed her friends. The markers were clear, with a touch of familiarity subtly laced within. She stopped short, and looked to Leo. Magg was more than willing to attempt to take the reigns here, but had been told specifically to let the older wolf lead the diplomacy. So she'd follow - as long as Leo wasn't too scared, that was. RE: ring ring, hello hello - Jethro - Aug 04, 2023 More often than not, it was just their little group here in the areas surrounding kingsfall and the lake. Visitors, be they, strangers or acquaintances from the other packs were rare. So infrequent at times that he’d often mused whether they really needed to have any territory markings at all. The call was even more unexpected given the concerning tinge of ash that’d been detectable in the air for some time, and that only seemed to be growing stronger. Jet hoped it wasn’t bad news from another pack, that maybe the visitor was just curious about a group they’d happened to cross. But just in case, he headed toward the summons faster than he might’ve otherwise, picking out not just one but two figures awaiting in the forest. They carried with them a distinct, familiar scent. Sanguine Cove - except they were younger, and Jet was a tad saddened that he couldn’t positively identify them. Or at least the older male. Still though he moved forth, a welcoming smile upon his countenance. It was good to see wolves from the cove, even if he didn’t know exactly who they were. ”Welcome to the Falls. What can we do for ya?” RE: ring ring, hello hello - Leo - Nov 14, 2023 Sorry for the wait, @Magg is up!

RE: ring ring, hello hello - Magg - Nov 26, 2023 A small part of Magg might have been hoping Leo would bungle his role. That she'd have to take the reins, and then proceed to totally whoop ass at it. Go home as the only reason the mission was successful, better than her elder, definitely the best, most favorite yearling- bah. Nope, he was doing fine so far. Oh well. It was cool being introduced with her full name like that, though. Her tawny chest puffed with pride, chin lifting a touch as though to say that's me! She was getting the feeling that this was going to be a lot simpler than she had anticipated, which definitely was not a bad thing. Still, Magg wanted a part! "Are you Jethro?" RE: ring ring, hello hello - Jethro - Nov 28, 2023 The younger man’s introduction allowed Jet to finally piece things together. Leo, someone Jethro remembered mostly as a kid only starting to come into adulthood. Now out here leading a diplomatic mission of sorts. Polite, formal, respectable, but maybe a little rigid. And Magg, probably a child of Nash and Aquene, born after he and Siyet had already departed from the cove. Already looking confident and capable. ”It’s good to see you both,” the dark one offered back with a smile. ”And you can relax. I’d like to think we’re all friends, here,” Jet would add, inviting the two of them to cross the borders with a subtle motion of his nose, if they desired. Magg would beat him to his introduction though, and he’d regard the child with a broader smile and nod. ”I am. What brings you both out here - nothing bad, I hope?” The pair didn’t seem to be worried or stressed, so he didn’t think so. But one could never be too sure. Jethro doubted life in the mountains had gotten any easier since he’d left. |
