You're a wild, wild girl - Nash - Jul 22, 2023

ServerGod Nash, you catch a rare sighting of a hummingbird! For @Eclypse set late morning/early afternoon 7/11

[dohtml]

Leo and Magg had departed for Paradise Falls and Nash would be taking the three remaining yearlings to the old Cove territory tomorrow. He hoped they were looking forward to it; Nash knew it was a paltry prize in comparison to an ambassador mission, but he couldn't send all of them. He himself would be going to visit his brother in a few months, if he was able, so he would take one or two of the others at that time. The problem would be choosing who to take...

Sometimes being both a father and a leader made things more difficult than he cared to admit.

Which led him to today's plans. He'd promised to take the yearlings - and he knew Eclypse was terribly disappointed to be the only youth left out. No matter how badly Nash might want to take her, there was a reason he hadn't taken her older siblings sooner. And with the air steadily getting worse, he didn't want her to be on such a long journey. And if he took her now, when he hadn't taken the others until they were yearlings, he would risk the appearance of favoritism. So, today he would be spending some one-on-one time with her.

"Eclypse," he called as he approached the den, where she was no doubt harassing anyone who might still be lounging this time of day. "Want to go on an adventure with me?" He wouldn't be taking her far, of course, but she was still little. A little swim practice might be enough to run out her energy.
