that girl is a blizzard - Magg - Dec 10, 2023
Random Event: A large crack can be heard throughout much of central Relic Lore as a large portion of the typically permafrozen mountain top splits off and causes a large avalanche. For @Leo only. Backdated for 12/7.
Magg hadn't wanted anyone to come along with her, certainly not a babysitter. Being alone, going a bit too far, maybe even taking a risk; that had all been the point. She couldn't fault her parents for protecting her after everything the pack had been through, but she could certainly be grumpy about it. Her demeanor with Leo was markedly different from when they'd gone to Paradise Falls. Magg was using restraint in not outright bolting from him, but she still wasn't minding well. Pointedly putting distance between them, and hopefully he would just give her the benefit of the doubt, assume she was that eager to lead the way. And she was still looking for signs of Galen or the others, but hadn't all this been looked over already? Mount Dire's peak was still above them, a clear marker of the farthest she'd ever gone this way before. She wanted to be past it, without Leo. RE: that girl is a blizzard - Magg - Dec 15, 2023 Magg paused to check again how far Leo was from her. It certainly crossed her mind to try and feign some kind of incident that might send Leo racing back to the Cove to get the pack for help, but, well... that was a lot crueler than just disappearing for a week or so. Still, seeing how much further down the incline he was, as well as how steeply the other side of it dropped, Magg was strongly tempted. The crack sounded as she deliberated, loud and momentarily-deafening in a way that seemed to course throughout her entire body. Her head whipped up in time to watch the mountaintop itself crumble and fall. |
