No Easy Way Up - Cashew - Mar 06, 2024

Quote:a forest predominantly consisting of pacific dogwood and lodgepole pine has remained relatively undisturbed in a wide shallow strath that finds itself dead-ended against towering cliffs that block the route to higher ground and any easy path toward the Lost Lake.

Cashew hadn't found the most successful route to achieve sightseeing above sea level. He stood below a jagged cliff eyeing it for any route upwards. The rocky formations loomed over him like a threatening wave to wash out all below. Subconsciously he gulped. Honey browns staring at the shallow and sharp footholds few and far between. He mentally readied himself.

The Lakewood gent lifted onto his hind paws before pushing up and leaping onto the rocky hillside. A stone crumbled from beneath him, rolling away onto the ground. He'd hardly ascended and his heart was pounding wildly in his chest. He found a new respect for @Iris. Beady eyes shifted skywards as his paws set into careful motion up the sheer path.
