i take my whiskey neat - Vili - Mar 14, 2024 [Dohtml] The mountain proved to be less difficult than he had imagined. Perhaps Vana had just wanted to make it sound more imposing than it was to garner his interest. How else would she have roped him into escorting her half way? He had thought to turn around after he'd done his duty, but something had spurred him onward, kept him trailing after her scent. Maybe this was it?
He could scent the borders, could smell the wolves that must have called this place home. He wondered how different it would be to the Loch. Did all packs run the way theirs did? He'd imagine not, which made him all the more curious. How were things here in the lands Vana had claimed her new home?
Vili could have followed his sister the rest of the way, could have joined the pack she resided with, but he had no intentions of doing so. If he was going to leave the Loch, he wasn't going to stick himself under another Archer's paw. He was going to forge a new path, make new ties, and live the way he wanted to live. Thus, he found himself skirting around the edge of the borders in hopes that he might catch sight or wind of someone new, someone interesting. Maybe he'd make a friend or be chased away. There were so many new and exciting possibilities. [/dohtml] |
