RE: and i will light the fuse - Nash - Aug 21, 2024 [dohtml] Nash knew his eldest daughter had beef with his niece, but he hadn't addressed it yet. He hoped once they settled so would the tensions. As it was, Magg didn't answer Nori's call and took her time answering his. He glanced at Aquene, brow raised, but didn't mention it when the girls arrived. He glanced at their surroundings, eyes lingering on the hill where he felt their den would be best placed. "What do you think?" he asked her, indicating the hill. "Protected on three sides by the river, cover from the skies, and a densite high enough up the hill that it should be safe from flooding." The decision would not hinge on Magg's opinion alone, but he wanted to hear it regardless. She was the mother of two of the three pups this year; that counted for something, even if she'd broken the rules to make it so. RE: and i will light the fuse - Aquene - Sep 17, 2024 [dohtml] Aquene had taken a more rounded path than her husband had, if only to take in some of the surrounding enironment more as she considered her own opinion on it. She still wasn’t entirely sure how she felt about it… but she felt less of a weight on her chest than she had in months, likely thanks to the fact that they were at a lower altitude, and she hadn’t seen a hawk in several days. Still, her eyes grazed upward, watching carefully as she made her way to them. She greeted her husband once more with a graze against his cheek from her maw before she looked to her daughter, catching the tail end of his question. For the moment, she would remain silent. She wanted to know her daughter’s opinion as well, without the risk of tainting it with her own. Not that she thought she’d be swayed by Aquene’s opinion… Magg made her own choices, as she had made abundantly clear this past year. She was more curious about the lack of her presence to the call, or more of lack of attendance at the impromptu meeting, but would not pry into that either just yet. Aquene Slayer RE: and i will light the fuse - Magg - Sep 18, 2024 'What do you think?' he asked, and she raised a brow. As her father continued, it clicked. Oh. That call was Nori announcing she'd picked out home, huh? The bounds of what Nash had handed his niece apparently knew no limits. What was next, Second? "River to three sides also means we'll be exceptionally easy to corner," she remarked, brown eyes casting around their surroundings in thought. Magg couldn't pretend to care about the location for long, though. In her mind, it was about time she talked with her parents about something else. "Rather privileged, isn't she?" There was a curt little smile on her lips, and her gaze was bright, but the venom was clear beneath the thin drizzle of icing as she spoke of their 'scout.' "If I'm this pissed, imagine what @Eclypse would be feeling if she knew." RE: and i will light the fuse - Neva - Oct 20, 2024 Neva can be skipped unless directly interacted with!
