Paradise Falls - Magnus - Nov 18, 2024

Character Name: Magnus
How Long They've Been in Relic Lore: Day one

Prompt Response:

The cold nipped at his heels and drove him deep into a thick forest. Beckoned deeper and deeper by the scents that seemed to cluster here and there. Some fading, some fresh. He thought he saw a glimpse of ginger fur skulk away up ahead.

These were signs of life. It meant that all of his wandering had not been for nothing. There were hopes and potentials here among the towering trees. He chuffed, lingered for a moment in thoughtful silence. Nothing had been brought with him that might show his intent in better ways. Yet he was strong, young, healthy. Were those not promising traits for one who wanted to align among any ranks?

When he was greeted, he kept himself position respectfully.

"Magnús." He offered first, figuring it would only be right for his name to be given above all else. "Winter blows in strong at my heels. I do not make empty promises, so I offer only my body as show for the work I can do here."

And it would be only at the mercy of this pale man's reign that Magnús might find himself accepted, or cast back out into the wilds.

RE: Paradise Falls - Ryder - Nov 19, 2024

Ryder listened unsmiling, quietly judging what he saw and the way the wolf explained himself. Were they teeming with able bodies, the newly-made leader was rather confident he'd have turned him away without a second thought. Now was not the time to be picky nor flaunt his authority, however. Still, he did take a few moments to feign consideration. His pale eyes cast over the proffered frame critically.

"Ryder Lennox."

He tipped his head after speaking, bidding him to follow. The man would be led wordlessly to the pack den, and then left to his own devices. It was common sense, how to contribute and how to avoid doing harm. If Magnús proved he couldn't handle being here, Ryder would ensure the pack as a whole swiftly escorted him back off their land.

Accepted.
