Down to the Bone - Tlarx - Jun 11, 2012 Early afternoon; partly cloudy and cool. [dohtml]
Down to the Bone - Kegan - Jun 12, 2012 Kegan had been peacefully strolling around until he had heard long howl, it sounded like males, which the howler had to be Tlarx, since they were the only two males from the pack. Kegan padded up quickly towards the lake. There he was, the pale white and grey mixed wolf. Kegan knew that Tlarx would challenge him. The boy hoped that this battle wouldn't effect the way they would talk to each other. The boy opened his mouth to speak. "Hello, Tlarx, are you going to challenge me for the leader ship of Poison Path? I know how much you love Athena....but I won't be going down easily." Kegan said kindly, though with a hint of courage. Kegan nodded down kindly, saying that Tlarx would be aloud to move first. Kegan wondered if he would win, but was almost certain that this male was more stronger than him. The boy was alright a fighting, but wasn't to fond of it, he waited, growling at the white wolf who was about to take the first move. Down to the Bone - Tlarx - Jun 12, 2012 [dohtml]
Down to the Bone - Athena - Jun 13, 2012 [dohtml] She was in the depths of her den when things were starting to unfold. Tlarx never spoke with her about his intentions, but she assumed what they would be. He had promised to be by her side and in order to officially do that, he had to challenge the current leader. And like she stated at the pack meeting, that soul was Kegan. The man she barely knew, but had to put blind trust on him for the time being. It wasn't long, however, for Tlarx to challenge the man for the role he wanted. So, that was when she too heard his eerie call beckon the current Leader. Looking down at the children, who were sleeping luckily, she gently licked both of their heads, before getting up silently and slipping out into the afternoon sun. She picked up her pace up to a trot, through the thicket of deadly nightshade until the lake came into view. She spotted to two just in time to see Kegan approach the black saddled man. You could see their size difference easier from afar. Tlarx being larger than the grey man. She sat down at the end of the trail of nightshade and settled in to watch. Tlarx half circled him then took the first move aiming for Kegan's mid-section. She only hoped this wouldn't get too violent. She needed both of them. speech Down to the Bone - Kegan - Jun 13, 2012 Yes, the boy also hoped that there wouldn't-be to much violence. Kegan watched as Tlarx padded to the right. He showed his teeth as the man flipped his triangle, pointy ears back on to his silvery pelted head, while the male practically threw himself near Kegan. Then, Kegan noticed that Tlarx was a very large, well muscled wolf. On the good side, Kegan was a lot faster. But as the bullet boy dodged the first bite, the gray wolf with the black saddled back, used his weight as an advantage. The white man hurled himself to the boy, there was nothing Kegan could do in the time he had, which was a few seconds. Tlarx literally threw himself at Kegan. Though the boy attempted to bite the male's chest, which was near to impossible to do even for Kegan, though the boy tried it anyways. Kegan growled deeply, it would take way more than that for this wolf to surrender, Kegan thought that him and Tlarx had barely started. Though the boy smelt a familiar scent, a lot like Athena's, in fact, it was. Kegan struggled to get away from the white male for a moment, he could hardly breathe. Kegan pulled and tugged, shacked and quivered, trying to do anything to get the male away for a moment, this actually reminded the boy about that time Mist and him had recklessly and carelessly ventured in the dreaded Swift River territory. While Ice, the wolf who attacked him, brought the boy to the ground. Down to the Bone - Tlarx - Jun 13, 2012 We don't have to wait for the wolves who are watching to post. You and I can just keep posting to get things moving :). [dohtml]
Down to the Bone - Athena - Jun 15, 2012 Yes, you can skip me anytime, since I won't have really much to add at times:). [dohtml] And the fight was on. Tlarx's initial attempt at getting at Kegan was unsuccessful, but the move wasn't a complete failure. The white man slammed into the side of the younger boy. The boy retaliated and bit at Tlarx's chest. Her breathing seized for a moment as she watched Kegan latch onto her mate. Once the saddled man was out of the grip of Kegan, she was able to breath again. The sheer strength of Tlarx highly out did that of Kegan's, but with smaller size comes faster speed. And with that, Kegan struggled to get away, but he managed to slip away before Tlarx could get a good grip on him. Tlarx took off after him and reached out to try to bite at Kegan's left hind leg. She hoped that if he was able to get a grip on Kegan's back leg that he didn't hurt it too severely. They lived in the mountains anyway and he'd need that leg if he wants to continue on with Poison Path. speech Down to the Bone - Kegan - Jul 03, 2012 Kegan could hear Tlarx's paws clench to the ground as the white grey man rushed after the silvery pelted boy. Tlarx then suddenly lunged for one of Kegan's long hind legs as Kegan ran forward. Unfortunately for Kegan, Tlarx had a good hold of the boy's leg. Twas nearly im possible to walk, for the poor boy. He nearly stumbled again, again and again but somehow wouldn't fall to the ground. Kegan tried hard to kick his leg in Tlarx's possession. Kegan kicked, kicked and kicked as many times before the boy finally fell down to the ground. (Occ: sorry for writing so little. Down to the Bone - Tlarx - Jul 06, 2012 [dohtml]
Down to the Bone - Kegan - Jul 11, 2012 Kegan nodded 'thanks' as Tlarx had let go of the boy's long legs. Th boy stared upon the man that gazed at him. "I don't want to injure you." Tlarx had said, and Kegan knew Tlarx could have torn the boy's leg to shreds, and was glad that he didn't. "This man deserves to become leader." The silver pelted boy had whispered to himself. As Tlarx waited, Kegan noticed it was his turn. The boy ran as fast as he could, and was hardly able to stop. The boy strangely aimed for the white man's shoulder, unable to reckon if Tlarx had dodged or not. If the boy had struck, he hoped it had never hurt to bad. (Sorry, I have really low muse today.) |
