Willow Ridge Pack Thread - Kyrie - Jul 06, 2012

[dohtml]

Kyrie nodded with a smile. Yes she too wanted and needed a new family. She did consider the other packs, but before she actually could think about them if they would fit her she met Elettra first. The first wolf she had met in Relic Lore. Kyrie felt thankful to Elettra giving her a place to call home and getting a new family.

As far as Kyrie knew the other pack were far more bigger than Willow Ridge. The feeling of being the new one was never pleasant but with Willow Ridge everyone was new so it didn't matter.
The girl nodded again in agreement. 'With Elettra in the lead I think everything will be fine. She is born as a leader. I like it that she speaks without any fancy words. It's clear and straight to the point.' She stopped for a moment to think. 'Well this pack is other than the one I grew up in, but don't think that is a bad thing.' The white woman understood the word loyalty in Reed's sentence, just the word glory made her stumble. Glory, victory? Standing in the spotlights? She didn't quite understand the meaning of the word. Maybe he meant something else? 'What do you mean? Glory..' She asked still thinking about the meaning. It was probably very stupid she had to ask. Well she hoped he wouldn't make fun of her.

Willow Ridge Pack Thread - Reed - Jul 07, 2012

Glory. Define glory. He put his tongue against his cheek as his golden eyes turned thoughtful. Looking to her, he spoke "Our pack will rise. We will be strong; unstoppable. We will revel in our duties and loyalty." Did those words just come out of his mouth? Impressive. Typically, Reed keeps such within his mind, but Kyrie was curious, and so he told her.

The tired feeling continued to pull at his lids as he spoke to the young woman. Blinking slowly, he lowered his head, allowing it to rest upon his paws. Ears remained perked as to listen for her words of reply. Tucking his tail against his right hind haunch, he began to form different definitions of glory within his mind.

Willow Ridge Pack Thread - Narimé - Jul 17, 2012

[dohtml]

Narimé hobbled back into the den; a young ground
hog held firmly in her jaws. Her paw got twisted on her way back from
her hunt. She noted Reed sleeping near and another packmate. It seemed
Kyrie was back from whatever she was doing this morning. The silver yearling
flicked her ears to Kyrie in a greeting gesture and then continued to hobble
on three legs back towards the chaches.

When she returned Narimé sat down next to Reed and sighed. I'm
back home now, I can relax for a little bit.
She lowered herself onto
her belly and licked at her paw.
"Hello Kyrie." She spoke quietly as to not wake Reed, but she gave a big smile
the the white she wolf. Pain sprinkled like pepper along the side of her paw as
she laid it onto the ground.

Willow Ridge Pack Thread - Kyrie - Jul 18, 2012

Kyrie grinned when Reed explained her the word glory. It was a nice way to look at the future, of course you couldn't foresee the future. Just let's hope they will have glory in the future. It sounded as something really nice. Reed lowered his head, letting it rest on his paws. He seemed a bit tired, Kyrie didn't say anything. Calm breathing looking at the treetops waiting till Reed would fall asleep. The others were still out there so it was no big deal if he would slip away for a couple of minutes. Kyrie had to watch out to not fall in sleep herself. Instead she softly, almost to hear, began humming a song. Which one she didn't know it was just something random to keep her awake yet not to wake up Reed while he lay there.
A couple of minutes past, still humming in herself a familiar scent came back. The gray female showed up with a ground dog she held in her jaw. Her eyes were drawn to the strange way Narimé walked to the cache. Watchful she looked at the young wolf while she walked back and forth to lay down after she dropped her prey. Softly Kyrie gave her greetings back, still looking at her legs. She saw no blood so she wasn't wounded by the dog. 'Did something happened to your leg?' Worried she came a bit closer. Would they already have some herbs to lighten the pain? She guessed not, Elettra was their healer and she was quite busy with the new found pack. 'Do you want me to get something?' Kyrie continued to whisper. 'I can get something what might lighten the pain.' Kyrie was no specialist but she liked nature and had confidence in her knowledge of plants. The plants she knew at least. It was not much, she was nothing like a healer but she had learned some basic things in the past years she lived by herself. Kyrie was still alive so she wasn't afraid that she would poison Narimé by mistake. Waiting for a answer but already almost up Kyrie looked at the blue eyes of the grey woman.

Willow Ridge Pack Thread - Narimé - Jul 18, 2012

"Hehe.. I just twisted my paw a bit after catching that little groundhog. I caught my foot in his hole when I was traveling back with him." She grinned sheepishly and ducked her head in embarassment. At least this time nobody saw her trip. Last time she tripped right in front of a stranger wolf, and boy was that embarassing.

Narimé shrugged slightly. If Kyrie thought she could find something to help why not let her? It didn't seem like she was doing anything important at the moment.
"I don't know what would help it but if you can find something that may help go ahead. I can't stop you. " She smiled and let her tail wag a little while watching the white she wolf. Narimé had no clue which plants were good for healing or poisoning. The young wolf just let the adults deal with herbs and stuff. She had no interest in the smelly things.

The silver girl laid her head back down onto her good paw and waited for warmth to seep from Reeds pelt to her own. Then she yawned loudly.

Willow Ridge Pack Thread - Kyrie - Jul 18, 2012

Kyrie stood up and tapped softly her nose on the girls head while laughing softly. 'Well that happens sometimes. Be right back, I'll look if I can find something.' Silently Kyrie left the two alone in the Den to go out and search for some herbs.
This place here is really nice, Kyrie thought while walking a bit further from the Den. She didn't have to travel far to seek for herbs or plants. Around them was plenty of plants that would be good for something. Just a little fraction of all the green Kyrie could tell what was what. From that tiny bit she knew even less what their use was or how to use it. Luckily Narimé wasn't like half dead and bleeding until she didn't have any blood left. Just a twisted paw, could be painful and very annoying but you don't die from something like that. Even Kyrie could manage to do something for her.
For a short moment she stopped walking, observing the area but began to walk right away after she knew where she was after.
It wasn't to hard to find and easy to make. She grew up with two brothers. They would come back with bruises, wounds and scratches all over their body from playing and fighting. Her mother always treated them while scolding them for their behavior. Her lips formed a smile while she dug into the ground. She missed them, every single day. Still she tried to not think about the past for too long just like know. It wouldn't do any good for her to get homesick. Since her home had changed places. Here was her home now even if she had no blood bond with any of them.

Kyrie came back with a little from everything. Quietly as she left so she came back. Some minutes had past but she had found what she searched for. Before the gray wolf she lay some colored berries. 'I advice you to eat them all at once, so it doesn't taste so bad. It will lighten the pain and prevents swelling.' Kyrie explained while putting some cold moss on her paw. The white she wolf had covered the smell of moss with flowers as much as she could. Like her brothers they hated to eat nasty stuff or getting a mixed pulp on their body. 'I overdid it a bit I think.' She grinned when she looked at the stuff left over form her search. Fast she took everything and looked for a nice place to put it. Again the white wolf lay down in the sun. {b} 'Did you came from a pack before this one?' Kyrie asked, she didn't really had a reason for the question. She was just curious.

Willow Ridge Pack Thread - Reed - Jul 31, 2012

[dohtml]

Reed entered the den sight, jaws open and tongue lolling freely. He panted heavily; it was hot as hell out today. With his tail low and wagging ever so slightly, his stomach urged him to eat. With his remaining energy, Reed brought himself to the cache, picking out a rabbit. It'll do. He wasn't selfish, therefore leaving the larger game for his pack mates. With a mouthful of rabbit, he casually walked over beside the trunk of a willow, laying down to eat.

He tore into the flesh, appreciating the scent that rose into the air. It was rather fresh. With a lazy smile upon his muzzle, he began to dig in.

Willow Ridge Pack Thread - Shade - Aug 09, 2012

Shade entered the den, being the new kid on the block, he was determined to make a good impression. He sat down, maybe a few wolves would come and he could talk to them. But it was a slim chance, everyone seemed to be busy as this was a brand new, fresh off the block type pack. Not even pups for the season that's how new. "It's good to have a pack to call home. Finally." He words were meant for thought, but came out a loud. He didn't care, he had to find Remy next to infur about a Guardian position. Elettra had given him time to consider, that time was almost up however. He was to lowest male since he was the newest. He'd only met Koda. He begged not to be in a pack full of chicks with barely any male figures around.

Help me, I want to be a guardian, but a hunter as well. I cannot do both. I need to be a Guardian. IT's my duty. I want the most important duty to make up for all I have done in the past. He lowered his head onto his paws. He waited; hopefully he would meet a pack mate soon. He hated socializing, but a friend or two couldn’t hurt. His thoughts reeled back to his sister still. She was alive, in a pack, and sounded to be well. Perhaps he would meet her again one day. Hopefully not in a fight, but a peaceful meeting.

Willow Ridge Pack Thread - Reed - Aug 09, 2012

[dohtml]

Reed entered the den site; a large fish was hanging from his jaws. With his tail swaying as he loped along casually, his ears caught Shade's words. Smiling behind scales, he padded up to the wolf, seating himself comfortably before him. Gently putting down the fish, he pointed his muzzle toward it. "Dig in, and welcome" he said, golden eyes observing the man carefully. Hmm. What role would this wolf play within the Ridge?

Though he was of higher rank, Reed awaited Shade to take the first bite of the fish. He wanted him to feel welcomed. Though he was sitting, his tail flicked to and fro, rising slightly to show his dominance. A friendly expression was drawn across his face; not his typical stoic one.

Willow Ridge Pack Thread - Shade - Aug 09, 2012

Shade saw Reed, another wolf. He seemed to have heard Shade. Reed set a fish down beside him. "Dig in and welcome." Was it a test? No, he leaned down and took a bite of the fish. "Thank you, I'm Shade." She said, noticing the slight dominence to him. He bowed his head in respect. He saw the friendly smile. At least there was one wolf who was here. He smiled back.

What was this wolfs role? Perhaps this was Reed. The wolf Elettra had told him to seek out for hunting. It wasn't of matter to him, he was to seek out the guardian position instead. However, Reed was too a second. Also, Reed was a posible friend.
(Short post, sorry, not a lot of time)
