He’d come so far. Too far to fail. It wasn’t in his heart, not even in his soul to fail. Family meant everything to him and most of them were ripped out of his arms. Most of them didn’t come out alive, their bodies ultimately littered across the blood soaked ground. The smell of metallic blood, the screams of his family, and the sights of so many of his dearest being torn apart by mentally unstable little fucks were burned inside his memory, never to be washed away. It went against his heritage and soul to hate, but he hated Grindle and pack of fucking murderers; he loathed them. But it wasn’t against his heritage to grieve and he did his share of grieving for his lost family. He felt guilty for his brother’s death. He should have been there to help him, to keep him alive. He felt like a Guardian to his brother, his wing man. Now all of that was unconsciously torn out his heart, out of his arms and thrown so far away that no matter how many miles he ran, he’d never be able to feel the love, the bond that he had with his brother. His heart was shattered. Never to be put back together. There weren’t big enough band aids for it. No love strong enough to put it together, to find all the pieces. He was a shattered heart and a grieving soul. His name, Jacob Thorben. Miles flew by like minutes. He was determined to find his nephew, the only family that he knew of. Jake couldn’t bear losing him, not with everything he’s been through. He won’t give on him, not ever. Sloane had been the youngest of his brother’s litters and Jacob was determined to keep the youngster alive. The land of Relic Lore brought new sights and unfamiliar smells. He’d come through Hush Meadow, a place he knew not of. He then came upon a large body of water. Iridescent Lagoon. The shear beauty of it was breathtaking. The large black claws of his, stalked forwards stepping into the calm, cool water. The jet black fur was beginning to become dirty, even though Jacob didn’t really care about keeping it tidy. A swim seemed like a good idea. It’ll sooth his aching muscles for now, relax his mind even. Thankfully, he hadn’t had any flashbacks in a while, but at night they’d get him. Jake hated to sleep. Every time he’d have a nightmare about his family and he’d wake panting and claw marks would be surrounding him. Sleep was his least favorite thing. He tried staying awake for long periods of time, thinking they might go away, but once his eyes were closed, he relived the horror. It was terrible, but the flashbacks during the day were worse. It wasn’t wise to be around him when he had his flashbacks. His anger rises and he blindly attacks anything in his reach. The attack doesn’t stop until the flashback does and there’s no telling when it will. Jake was a ticking time bomb, ready to explode at any time. His Name, Jacob Thorben - Aki - Jul 21, 2012 Aki was swimming in the Iridescent Lagoon. It was peaceful here. He went by Toby, but when new spread of his name, of him being driven out and abandoned, then he knew he had to change it. His story sad, and long. It all came back to memory, to haunt him. On February 18th 2010, the Lakota tribe alphas, as they called it a tribe, or pack as we call it, Alia and Night, were blessed with a litter of five pups. Three males and two females. They named the eldest Toby. The other two males were Poseidon and Artemis. The two females were Emerald and Fallow. His littermates and Aki, who was Toby at the time, grew and were restless, wanting to go outside the birthing den, when one day, they were allowed out. They stared to play fight and Night saw great potential in his eldest, Toby. He managed to win against his brothers and sisters at play-fighting. He ran on his parents praise. He became arrogant and Artemis managed to sneak a blow in that led to Toby losing one fight. After that, he ran not on arrogance, but on his mind, developing strategies for each size and strengths and differences of each wolf. The grew to become yearlings. Learning to hunt, Aki again excelled, catching hare's like crazy compared to Emerald, who was only a worse hunter then Aki in they're litter. She grew mad and angry, a feud started between them. It got to the point where Emerald set a trap for Aki, to kill him, but instead Poseidon was caught in it. Aki was hunting near-by and heard a yelp in pain from his younger brother. Aki was a noble and loyal wolf. His instincts to help and protect kicked in and he ran as fast as the wind, trying to get to Poseidon before it was to late. But alas, he was. When Aki got there, his younger brother was going to the stars. Aki carried his brother back to they're parents. He explained that he fell into a trap, it looked to be human work. He didn't realize Emerald had done this. His siblings, parents and Aki himself mourned his death. Staying with Poseidon's body all night. After his actions served the pack well, he became a Subordinate. All his siblings still Yearlings, they were jealous. Emerald plotted again, challenging Aki to a rank challenge. He won, barely even trying. His sister was the weakest fighter of the litter. He challenged a Guardian to a rank challenge before long. They fought for it. Aki was neck and neck with Strike, the Guardian. He managed to beat him, he was promoted to Guardian. Later in the year, Night and Alia disappeared, not dead. Well then the seconds took they're place as alphas. Aki becoming a second with Rose, another wolf. They were friends, but no more. Then, the alphas disappeared and he became Alpha. He discovered that Emerald caused the disappearances. When he called a meeting and confronted Emerald. She accused him of giving an enemy pack food from Lakota lands. He denied it. The truth was, Emerald and Strike were seconds. They plotted against him and Rose. They showed the tribe fake evidence. She challenged his leadership and a fight came down, the duel they'd both been waiting for. Aki hurt Emerald badly after she confessed about killing Poseidon, only he could hear it. Strike jumped it after he hurt Strike's mate and his sister Emerald. Strike attacked viciously, he clawed, leaving a scar reaching from Aki's cheek to the back of his neck. After the fight, Aki and Rose were driven from the Lakota lands. They were chased separately and he hasn't seen her since. He later learned that Artemis and Follow left to. He started to search for them. Toby had been on his own for 3 months, he was in the southern part of Manitoba. He scented a pack, packs weren't common in the area, he waited on the border, for hours and hours on end. When the leader of the pack found his scent. She had a sharp tongue, but a clever mind. She saw his strength, loyalty. He was accepted as a Subordinate. After a month or two of service, he had challenged a Guardian to his rank. He fought, it seemed like for days. It was a half and hour. Finally, he came out on top, he was promoted to guardian. He was a loyal pack member, doing the alphas will. Shortly after the pups and female alpha were allowed to leave the birthing den, the alpha's grew more conspicuous. They thought he was to strong, not many wolves could beat they're guardians. He had been promoted to beta shortly before this discussion. He was so young, but so powerful. So they made a choice, one that his birth pack had made, but handled in a different fashion. While Toby was asleep, they up and left, waking to the pack, pups, all of them gone. Even the one he loved. He was angry, lashing out, it seemed like he was a mad wolf. Mad as in being insane. All wolves stayed away from his den, but he continued forward, once again, he was alone. Until a short month after, near Relic Lore, he found yet another pack. He talked with they're leaders, he gave the name Toby Loch and they had heard of it. They chased him from the territory, chased him to his limits of insanity and reality. He, instead, sat for a few days, calming down. He had decided. It was his nae that cursed him. He then became, Aki Storm. The memories were to much, he swam to shore and laid there, tearing up. He was no longer in a desolate land. His Name, Jacob Thorben - Aki - Jul 21, 2012 (Sorry, internet lagged and I accidentally posted twice) His Name, Jacob Thorben - Shade - Aug 12, 2012 [dohtml]

The three souls that could save his broken, tattered heart were still out there without their uncle. He was sure that they could survive without him; they were Thorbens anyway. However, he was beginning to become weak of mind and soul. At times he questioned his sanity and why he was still trying. They could be anywhere. Sloane's faint trail could all just be a figment of his imagination. After traveling after the man, his hope diminished given to others like candy. Now as he stood, looking at himself in the water, he needed that hope; that urge to keep going even though his mind and body told him to give it up. His heart needed back-up. He needed his butterscotch. Noises in the distance crumbled his thoughts into dust as he snapped back into reality. He glanced over to see another running for some reason and another approaching him. The chocolate covered male was smaller than him (which wasn't unusual for him), his own body taller and broader than the other. The dark coated man stepped back from the water, turning to face the other. A flashback of one of his family members threatened to break through into his conscious. The image of one of grandmother flashed past his eyes. The man looked identical to her. The same chocolate covered coat along with the same chocolate eyes. The only difference was the size; his grandmother was bigger like himself. The flashback soon disappeared, however, leaving him longing for his family even more. He was graced with the man's voice of greeting and concern. He was never the rude type, always treating others how he'd like to be treated. His mood wouldn't like that change him. "Hello there." He said, forcing a smile and a polite nod in return. Trust was something that Jake never liked to give out easily, but the man seemed to be alright. "Jacob Thorben, but you may call me Jake." His family always called him Jake; the little ones Jakey. The sound of it always put a smile on his face. "I was just looking for a good place to take a swim. My coat isn't in the best condition." Chuckling lightly, easing the tension out of the air with his friendliness. His Name, Jacob Thorben - Shadowstorm - Aug 12, 2012 [dohtml] http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v201/bluepups/ShadowstormTable.png); [/dohtml]
background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; padding-top: 165px; padding-bottom: 15px; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px;"> Shadowstorm had been going back to Copper Rock Creek territory after meeting Shade and Yoru in Whisper March. "Jacob Thorben, but you may call me Jake." Torben? Thorben was Sloane's last name. She scented Shade. "Is that you brother?" She called out wearily. She saw the two talking. "I'm Shadowstorm, I overheard you two talking, I was wondering, are you related to a friend of mine? Sloane? You have the same last name." She said, she didn't want to frighten anyone. Her first flashback since Whisper Marsh happened: Shadowstorm descends from a small, unknown line of wolves with some odder beliefs. Her father and mother always taught her to be a lone wolf, to never join a pack. They made her believe that packs were not noble. That pack members were too weak to live by themselves and that they needed other wolves who were the same as them to live. She grew up determined to not disgrace her parents who were killed by a small group of wolves, not a pack, just a small group of lone wolves. She believes her brother, Shade, to be dead, but he is out there, looking for her and never ceasing the search. She often thinks of what her mother, brother, and father would do when she is in a tough situation. Even though she now knows her brother is alive. She still thinks of him. His Name, Jacob Thorben - Kyrie - Aug 12, 2012 [dohtml] http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v201/bluepups/KyrieTable.png); [/dohtml]
background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; padding-top: 15px; padding-bottom: 180px; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px;"> Kyrie walked of from her lands. This time she had a destination in mind. The Lagoon she had visited not long ago would be visited again. The place was just so nice. The water was the best and it was just like a mirror. After meeting Triell she had hang around the area, seeing the water reflecting her surroundings. Such a beautiful picture. Satisfied she chewed on a mintleaf while walking through the grasslands. Now she knew what she wanted Kyrie more at peace. Her mind seemed less busy with things. She had already adjust to the pack life once again. Doing a fast hunt for breakfast, patrolling a part of the border or just spending some time for her own. Doing things with the ones she loved. Could she wish for more? Her mind was somewhere in dreamingland, her whole body moved on her automatic pilot. Softly she sang some unknown song. Shall the Lagoon be empty again? She hoped so, it was nice to be alone once in a while. Of course she wouldn't mind to meet new wolves too. Lately she met many new wolves, it was nice to make new friends. In her mind they were friends at least, she had no idea how they looked at her. Kyrie smelled the fresh water from far. She took a deep breath, easy she walked against the edge of the lagoon. Still singing her ears twisted a bit. She could hear barks. So she wouldn't be alone after all. The smells turned out to be not so unknown. A wolf she had met not so long ago. Her new ''brother'' and packmember, Shade. Smiling she ran the last few meters. Her eyes spotted two black wolves, one female and a male. 'Hey Shade!' She greeted him with a smile and looked than at the others. The two were really good looking, they looked also alike except the eyes and the difference in size. Curious she looked both in the eyes. 'I'm Kyrie, pleasure to meet you!' She smiled bright as the sun. From aside she glanced at Shade, did he knew them or did he meet them just now. 'I hope i don't bother you guys in some important conversation..' She blushed a little, hopefully she hadn't broke into some kind of private talk. Otherwise she would just go away, the Lagoon was long enough after all. His observant nature told him that she must have been in a few scuffles. His body held many nicks and scars from pervious encounters with other wolves. The two were siblings or just close? Then the woman began talking about Sloane! Could she be talking about his Sloane, the Sloane that he was so desperately looking for? She went on about the last name and he concluded that it had to be the right one. "Sloane Thorben? Gold eyes?" He asked; he had to be sure before he got too excited and hopeful. He couldn't bear another let down especially if he's so close. He could almost feel his family out there somewhere in the Lore. Not long after, another graced the group with their presence. Another female and another pack wolf from the smell of her. As the lighter female approached them, his striking mismatched eyes followed her every move. Her body moved like a graceful huntress towards stopping closer to the others. The other male being her pack mate, they conversed, but his eyes never left the scene. During his travels, he's seen many others. But, her smile was like no other. As bright as the shining moon, the Dark Knight couldn't help but stare. Her name was as beautiful as her smile. Kyrie. What a pleasure it was. The warrior felt too big for the group around him. The others were not even close to being as large as he, but they weren't graced with the Thorben line. His rump gently hit the ground, his black tail wrapping around his forelegs. "Jacob Thorben. It's a pleasure to meet you my lady." His deep voice rumbling through his chest as the knight's mismatched eyes met the hazel ones of his lost princess. background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; padding-top: 165px; padding-bottom: 15px; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px;"> Shadowstorm nodded. "Yes, golden eyes. I've been staying with Sloane and his packmates." She said, her number one lesson form Nina, never give too much information away. It can lead to deadly concequences. Look what happened when Nina talked to her brother. She was attacked, mualed and beaten. Shadowstorm acnowledged the presence of Shade's pack mate with a ear flick."It is an honor to met one of my brothers packmates Kyrie. I am Shadowstorm Slayer." She said, turning to the fae. A flashback occured of her brothers life: Shadowstorm descends from a small, unknown line of wolves with some odder beliefs.
