Daybreak Song - Estella - Aug 01, 2010 Short ><[dohtml] It was early morning and Estella had just woken up. She didn't sleep well the night before and just couldn't go back to sleep. The female stretched her limbs while she yawned and shook the dirt and grass off her fur. With a wag of her tail she headed towards Heartleaf Creek. As she got there she stopped to listen to the birds as they woke up with a lovely song to sing. The sun could barely be seen it was still dawn and the air was moist and smelled clean. Lowering her head to take a drink she came up with a marvelous idea! Perhaps she could follow the creek and see where it would lead her.
The female finished drinking and started heading east as she followed the creek. It slowly turned north then south. Suddenly something caught her attention. She was in a place she hadn't been at before. She had been living in the Relic for not too many days and she wanted to know where she was at now. She sniffed the ground, pack wolves had been here. The pack that lived in the Relic that is. She smiled as she looked around at the trees. The woods seemed so full of life.

The female looked up and the sky was dark blue and she tilted her head as she looked towards the direction of the sun raising. Beautiful. Estella didn't really want to wander in the woods by herself. She was tired of being alone all the time. She was use to it, but she didn't enjoy it so much. Sighing she decided to return to the Heartleaf Creek and take another drink and perhaps head back to where she had made her den.
As she headed back to the creek she saw an odd colored wolf heading her way. Stopping she watched him. She had never seen a wolf such as him. He had such pretty fur and stunning eyes! He then approached her and she smiled as she wagged her tail. <b style="color:#996666">Morning to you as well, she said as she wagged her tail calmly. <b style="color:#996666">Couldn't sleep? She asked him as she knew mostly everyone was asleep at the this time of day.

It had been such a long time since she had last had a civil conversation with anyone. In fact, she never really met many lone wolves during her journey. So it was nice just to meet someone new and speak with them. Hearing his voice comforted her and made her feel at ease. <b style="color:#996666">I just wasn't feeling too well. Like you I guess I'm just not use to this place yet, it was an different place then her home but she was wanting to settle down again and stop traveling all over the place. It would be nice to have a place to call home.
She sat down and made herself comfortable. She would wander around later. At the moment they were talking. Her tail brushed again the ground pushing dirt from side to side. <b style="color:#996666">I'm Estella. How long have you been here? How long have you been a lone wolf? Sorry if I'm asking a lot of questions, she apologized to him bashfully as she looked down at her paws. She didn't want to seem pushy to know more about the stranger, but she just couldn't help herself sometimes... A lot of times...

Then again she really didn't know many wolves other then the few lone wolves she had met on her way to Relic and the wolves from her former pack. Weldering almost seemed as though he would be a part of her imagination with the way he looked and those gorgeous blue eyes of his! He was different in every way. In her family, mostly everyone had silver or brown eyes. The rest of the wolves in her former pack had gold eyes. <b style="color:#996666;">You have pretty eyes, she randomly thought to herself out loud. <b style="color:#996666;">I mean, yes I'm new as well. How embarrassing that was! If was a good thing that wolves had fur or he would of seen her blushing. She envied Weldering for her eyes. A female such as her deserved eyes like that, not a male... But they suited him and her eyes were fine the way they were. So all was fine... Still didn't mean she couldn't be envious of him.
The female was happy to hear that he didn't mind her questions. She remembered when almost everyone hated that she spoke too much, but now that she was a lone wolf she had calmed down a lot when it came to talking. She was sure if she were to meet him before she had became a lone wolf his ears would of been bleeding by now. She smiled once again as the wolf mentioned he had only been in Relic for less then a week. It was nice to hear that she wasn't the only one that was new. She stopped smiling as he seemed upset about something when he mentioned that he had been a part of a pack once.
<b style="color:#996666">It's fine, you don't have to speak of it. She said as she watched him closely. Quickly he changed the subject and asked about her and she smiled not wanting him to keep his mind on what was making him upset. Then again she knew that she couldn't fully keep his mind off of whatever was bothering him. <b style="color:#996666">Well, I also arrived here a few days ago. I've been a lone wolf for about four months now. My reason for leaving my home wasn't really a good enough reason now that I look back on it. I was just being a selfish brat, she said in a disgusted tone as she spoke about herself. She then stood up, <b style="color:#996666">Would you like to explore the woods with me? She hoped that it would cheer him up a bit.

table by debain Daybreak Song - Estella - Aug 03, 2010 [dohtml] Estella felt silly for telling the male that he had pretty eyes and she could feel that she had made him nervous. She didn't mean it in a flirting way, but it was hard for Estella not to flirt with any male. It came naturally to her and she couldn't help it if it came across that way. She looked down at her paws, still embarrassed for the comment she had made. It could of ruined a chance to make a new friend because he could be thinking that she wanted to be more. But Estella could just let it go, as though it had never happened. Maybe that would helps parch things up. Maybe they could start on a new slate?
She was happy to hear him say that he couldn't imagine her like a spoiled brat.<b style="color:#996666">Thank you. It made her feel as though she had grown, but she was a brat and she couldn't forgive herself for the selfish things that she had said before she left her home. If only she were able to say something to her parents before she left. If only she had let her family knew that she was leaving. Then maybe they would of followed. Seeing that they didn't even bother to look for her made Estella feel like they could care less if she ever were to return or died. She knew better then to think like that, but she just couldn't help herself from feeling that way. It was something that had been bothering her for a good while now and she just felt like she was such a pain in the butt for her family. Maybe if she hadn't been a brat... Then she wouldn't of been in the Relic and so far she was liking it there. She honestly didn't want to go back home back to being told what to do every moment of the day. Back to living a lie and trying to keep things to herself. She didn't want to live that way again. She liked the way it was in the Relic and not only that, but everything was just much more beautiful then what it was back home.
Smiling when the male agreed for a stroll with her she wagged her tail and got up. Maybe this was their new slate and she could work on getting things straight with them. It wasn't as though his friendship was such a big deal for her as she didn't even know the male, but she wanted to make friends and to know more wolves in the Relic, <b style="color:#996666">Let's start heading this way. She started heading east towards the mountain of dire. She hadn't visited the mountain just yet, but she wanted to keep exploring the woods.
