1,000,000 Died to make this sound - Ademian - Jan 29, 2013 [dohtml] Water dripped from bloodstained lips as the beast lifted his head in response to the deep-throated rumble which echoed across the lake. His hackles raised and his lips pulled back from his teeth, revealing canines still tainted by blood. The rumbling subsided but the brute still stood on guard.[/dohtml] RE: 1,000,000 Died to make this sound - Athena - Feb 02, 2013 [dohtml] Lately, the White Queen would just sit on her pedestal alongside the lake and just watch her kingdom as life passed her by. She felt her heart turning to stone and it would seem her body was starting to do the same. Even when the mountain grumbled in annoyance, most likely from the arrival of Naira and Rhysis upon it, she didn’t move, aside from the slight turn of her head to make sure no avalanche had started. It was dangerous living in the valley at the bottom of the mountain. Avalanches could easily cover over them and kill them in their sleep. However, her worsening insomnia wouldn’t let her get a peaceful sleep these days, so perhaps she would be safe. As she observed her kingdom around her, the scent of another wafted into her nostrils along with the metallic scent of blood. A growl rumbled in her chest for a moment as her burning eyes looked in the direction of where the scent came from. Her white body was easily camouflaged by the snowy landscape around her, so it wasn’t surprising when the large male didn’t see her as he went towards her lake. He was about 50 yards from her as she leaped down from her throne and began walking towards him, dominance easily rolling off her. Stopping about 3 wolf lengths away from him, her graceful voice called out to him, “Who are you.” |
