apocalypse - Elettra - Feb 19, 2013 Not nessisary mandatory, but if you want your wolf to have a clue whats all going on icly, it would be advised to at least show up and sit there. [dohtml] It was only hours since her encounter with Kiche at the Marsh lands, having gathered new and dreadful information of one of her pack members, though a matter to be taken much farther. Her wolves must be informed, not only of this, but of everything that had happened as of late for the pack. Willow Ridge had been weakened with the winter season, though Elettra Archer would see to it that her pack would be restored yet again. She had rushed as fast as her limbs could carry her, slowing only when she grew tired in order to regain herself in a slow loop before once more picking up speed. By now, Kiche had trailed far behind, less swift then herself and hindered by the small wound to his paw. Faithfully however, Elettra knew of him to be following, though still was leery of his seemingly faithfulness. Already he had found the pack a perfect storage area, even a safe house for the members should it ever be of need. Now, he had come to her with new information of these other wolves and a possible dangerous pack which they led. His usefulness was coming clear, a quality which he had never upheld before. Hopefully with his rush to her to give this information, no other wolf of the Ridge would have to suffer Kanosak's fate. Now within her territory, the grey mixed woman makes quick way into the area of the den site. Bounding atop the rocky formation which made the pack den, Elettra calls out to her members, beckoning them all to show as quickly as possible, with the urgency with bellowed in her dark voice. RE: apocalypse - Kiche - Feb 19, 2013 [dohtml] [/dohtml] RE: apocalypse - Guiness - Feb 19, 2013 [dohtml]
He had been loyally been doing what he had sworn he would do, protect the borders and watch for any intruders. So far, none had bothered him much and even though he was within the pack, he still found himself distancing himself from his other pack mates, not being much of a social creature. He did not mind the pack life though, it gave him something to do and somewhere to keep his loyalties. His full devotion had been given to his leading lady and it came to no shock to him when her voice traveled across the territory summoning the rest of the pack. Amber ears twitched at the frantic tone in her voice, and his large frame instantly shifted towards the call, before his large paws thundered heavily against the ground. Speed and stamina were not really his thing, so it took him a little bit longer to get there than it would have for a smaller wolf. He was certainly not last to arrive though, for when he did, the only ones gathered were Elettra and Kiche. Quickly, he bowed before his leadess, before quickly asserting his dominance over Kiche, nodding briefly in his direction. The man he was looking at could easily be his very own brother and twin. They looked close enough in resemblance to have been looking at their own reflection. It brought some kind of wave of peace over the large russet male, enough to the point where he made his way over to the other male, his tail slightly swaying behind him, before bumping the man on his shoulder in a friendly gesture. He would not go any further though, not feeling fully comfortable around the male quite yet. He even moved a few steps away from him being sitting down and facing El, his golden amber eyes watching her movements and waiting for the others to arrive. RE: apocalypse - Skana - Feb 19, 2013 [dohtml]
It never sat well with Skana to miss a hunt. Even if she could justify not going due to her arthritis, it still left her feeling rather useless. To make up for it she had hauled her half broken body around the borders on a patrol. It had been a rather uneventful round, and her worries about the sign of disease she'd seen in the Wildwood had not yet manifested on the Ridge's doorstep... At least not yet within her knowledge. It was after this that she was napping soundly within the dark confines of the rocky den, her noisy snores echoing throughout, when Elettra's rallying howl boomed from above.
Skana snorted and huffed into wakefulness, her grizzled brown head lifting and glancing about in a somewhat dazed fashion before she realized what was going on. A pack meeting had been called, for some urgent matter which Skana did not know of, and she rose to her sore paws to amble towards the mouth of the den. Looking out towards the willows, she could see the first to arrive was Kiche. She hadn't seen much of the man, but it was clear he had been hard at work around the outskirts of the territory. It was honestly a bit surprising to see him here, so close, and her tail and spine stiffened in response.
As Skana moved out of the cave and into the daylight, she grumbled quiet disapproval at Guiness's rather friendly greeting to Kiche. The man had earned his stay, perhaps, but he was still the lowest. Skana didn't sit far from the rocky overhang, but was tilted enough so that she mostly faced Elettra. She looked up to Elettra's eyes, before averting them downwards and off into the surrounding forest as she waited for the rest to arrive. RE: apocalypse - Narimé - Feb 19, 2013 [dohtml]
The howl brought her attention back down to earth. She had been trying to hunt rabbits around the edge of their territory but couldn't concentrate worth a damn. Nari had too many thoughts and emotions running through her head. Mostly thoughts about her future.
On her way back while trotting towards the howl Narimé managed to scare up yet another white furred rabbit from it's hiding place. Distracted from her homeward bound walk the young wolf chased the rabbit until she finally caught it a few feet before its burrow. Lifting her head with the rabbit in her jaws Narimé cursed her chasing instincts and routed herself trotting back towards the meeting place.
I'm going to be late just because of this stupid fellow.. She snorted and squeezed her jaws tighter around the limp body feeling bones creak and crack under the pressure. Why couldn't I catch one of you before I had to go to the meeting huh? When I was actually trying to hunt for you huh? Teasing herself the silver wolfs tail twitched left and right as she delved deeper into Willow wolf territory.
When she arrived at the scene Nari noted the presence of Elettra, Skana, Guiness, and Kiche. She padded forward first to her leader and then dipped her head respectfully. The ears of the rabbit scraping the ground as she did so. Then the gray wolf padded to Skana and did the same. When she got to Guiness she gave him a smile and a little wag of her tail before dipping her head in greeting.
Then she got to Kiche. Last time Nari had been warned about going near him. She passed the male slowly tipping her head higher than his holding the rabbit proudly. No aggression was in her stance but just a reminder of his status. Her blue eyes caught his for a moment then turned to look for a nice place to sit. Or maybe I should put this in the caches first? She paused unsure of what to do for a second. Then decided to sit and wait until after the meeting was over.
[/dohtml] RE: apocalypse - Kyrie - Feb 19, 2013 [dohtml]
A strong call sounded through the lands of the Willows. Two white ears flicked softly as the listened to the dark woman's call. Elettra. Kyrie rose her head, her muzzle dark brown from the wet ground. Blinking she watched the sky, as if the voice of her alpha was showing in the clouds. There was a pack meeting? She watched the gap in the ground she had made, with difficulty. Though the ground was much softer than in mid winter, she had still to work her way through hardened earth before she could harvest the roots and hidden seeds beneath it. Shaking her white head to shuffle of the mix of snow and dirt she took her fresh plants and roots before she would head back home. Seeing already some of her sisters being there she fastened her pace. First she saw Elettra and she smiled as much as that was possible with her muzzle claimed by the herbs. She dipped her head in proper manners for her second and alpha before she gave El another fast look. Asking for permission to go inside the Den first before attending the meeting. The white girl fast went inside the Infirmary. Placing everything were it belonged, she didn't want to make the Infirmary into a mess of herbs and plants with rushing. When she came back she looked around. She saw Skana, Narimé, Guinnes and one male she did not know. Her hazel gaze fell upon Kiche as she tried to see if his presence just had escaped her on that he was a new addition. She couldn't say for sure, Kyrie averted her gaze to give Narimé a soft lick between her ears. Happy to see her friend back and harmless. It saddened her she had not much time spend with any of the new members or old ever since she came back from her trip in the mountains. Soon she would make some more time to make her bonds stronger. Softly her voice whispered in Narimé's ear; 'Who is that brown male? I've never seen him before though his scent had passed me some times before. Is he new?' After that she went silent to watch and wait. RE: apocalypse - Narimé - Feb 20, 2013 You always write so well. :) [dohtml]
Narimé's attention was distracted as another lighter colored member of the pack arrived. Her friend Kyrie arrived with a bunch of herbs and quickly took them into the den to the stash Elettra had in the far corner. Nari absentmindedly imagined Kyrie and Elettra going through and sorting out the herbs at a later time. She dropped the rabbit at her feet and yawned. Not everyone was there yet.
Blue eyes settled upon Kyrie's form as she slid out of the den and greeted everybody. Nari smiled as the white woman licked her forehead and returned the gesture by licking Kyrie's cheek. Kyrie had always been there for her, and Narimé counted the white she wolf as one of her closest friends; apart from Chantille and Rosealia.
Her white friends attention was diverted by the brown form of Kiche to their right. Nari had forgotten that Kyrie was not present at the last meeting when Elettra spoke about the male. Quickly she explained what she knew to Kyrie.
"All I know is his name. Kiche is what Elettra called him, and for some reason he found some way of being on Elettra's bad side. He's the lowest wolf in the pack and should not be thought of as a family member." She recited what she had learned from the previous pack meeting. Though Nari felt bad for the male, she hoped that he would find a way to please Elettra so that he could properly socialize with the pack. She still wanted to properly meet him and gauge his personality for herself. [/dohtml] RE: apocalypse - Phineas - Feb 22, 2013 [dohtml] [/dohtml] RE: apocalypse - Tempest - Feb 23, 2013 [dohtml] Tempest had not slept well since arriving back home with Koda in tow. She had succeeded in her mission, but she had a feeling that things would never be as they once were. The sad thing is she had never really gotten the opportunity to know the real Koda. He had gone missing shortly after her joining. The russet fae had been concentrating on hunting once more to take her mind off of it all and she felt pleasantly tired after a few hours of somewhat successful attempts. Nothing large though. She'd taken her meager bounty to the caches and had been on the far side of the territory when Elettra's voice rang out through the air. Almost relieved to have a more productive distraction from both her worries and her frustrating hunting, Tempest quickly adjusted her direction of travel, swinging back around to head back towards the den and Elettra. It took her longer to get there then she thought, or at least it seemed like it since there were many others there already. There were only a few there that she knew. Elettra, of course and Narime' and Shade, both of whom she had met before joining and then there was Guiness. She entered the gathering quietly, dipping her head deeply towards Elettra with her tail hanging loosely towards the ground. She acknowledged those whose eyes she could meet, but kept a bit to herself for the moment, feeling a strangely overwhelmed by so many wolves in one place. For once she could understand Guiness' discomfort in such situations. Tempest knew that she'd get used to it again, it would just take a bit of time. She settled into a seated position, golden amber eyes focused on her dark Lady, knowing that this meeting would likely include talk of Koda and his injuries. She could only hope that he was well on his way to recovery. |
