Once more the dark fae wonders, decamping from her pack's borders to arch north west around the bend between Drooping Willow lands and the Cedar forest. In time, she is within the Wildwood, approaching the Bramble Falls with a determination as though she had one. Of course, as a Medic within the pack, she had much reason within spring and summer to scour the lands for herbs, though as the only Leader within the pack currently and pregnant, the choice was one she mad all her own, likely to the objection of her pack mates. Though none had approached her on the manner as of yet or perhaps, none had caught her in the act. She held no partner at her side to try to tell her otherwise, nor a mate to do such ether. She roamed a free woman, even as a Matriarch within her ranks. The Falls were thunderous here as they had been the night her amongst the lot of the Lore gathered to exterminate the pack beyond the mountains that had done such ill to them prior. The disease was hopeful to die with those who harbored it if only those healthy stayed clear of their clutches. Wolves, children, were lost, but they had in the end won and survived. A sigh took Elettra, dipping her muzzle down long enough only to take a sip from the water before looping on, edging at the mountain side with the intent to move directly south back towards home. South would directly bring her to the eastern edge of her territory and to the storage den for where extra back-up herbs were to be stored. In her trek back, a prideful step as she strode upon long, sturdy limbs, she heard the sound f whimpering. She pauses, a perk in her deep black ears as her grey rimmed muzzle lifts towards the sound. Upon a ledge, far from her reach but not by far enough to where she could not see the girl clearly, was a wolf. A huff takes Elettra, feeling little for the weeping woman, though wonders what drives her man enough to spend her time crying over her misfortune instead of prevailing beyond. "Crying will not mend your suffering." Elettra speaks simply, her tongue curling with the deep exotic tongue of a land far beyond here. The woman before her lifts firstly, tense as though in fear with a reason to flee from the scene, perhaps in shame of her state and/or perhaps with an unwillingness to be seen by anyone whilst she mourned for whatever reason it may have been. Elettra was a woman of much bottled emotion herself, refusing to allow others to see her is a state of sadness or distress. She needed to be strong for her pack, more now then ever as it's sole Leader, as a pregnant woman with no mate to call her own to protect her, her children, or the position she carried. She was only herself, a single woman, with a will of an army and it was this face, this reputation, which she must uphold if she would become the Legend she willed herself to become. Her pain was her own and so long as she was able to hold it, would forever be. When the younger woman firstly speaks on behalf of not knowing what else to do, Elettra holds back the scoff. Perhaps this woman had just been kicked from her home, had been betrayed, abandoned or perhaps had been the remainder of a family lost to ruin. The situation could have been very dire to this woman and Elettra, perhaps only due to the emotion of her pregnant state alone, tried to understand this, to find a reminder of her own pain in order to sympathize in some way. Little could be mustered, but enough to keep her within her placement still to look up upon the sender red wolf. She speaks not upon the woman being 'unseemly' for she was and perhaps this quiet and the expression she offers would have revealed this, had the girl not turned her head away in a deep intake with hopes to collect herself from the next round of tears falling from her eyes. In some manner, Elettra felt sorry for her only that she was sorry it was she who had come across her and not someone with pity and a soft heart, to offer her love and affection where Elettra felt she could not. Kyrie was a delicate heart all her own, Tempest of an air of understanding and a guiding paw. Even the friendly and open Narime, or Nina could have done better with the situation then Elettra could have ever dreamed to accomplish. "I will not pity you." And there she speaks, her words flat though without lacking the meaning. Her intent was to tell the woman she would not pity her because no strong wolf should be pitied, but perhaps understood and righted in their direction. That the world would not coddle her and neither would Elettra, but perhaps help her if help was wanted. Though all this meaning held not on her tongue, if only in her eyes, likely to fail where words would have been best granted. "If it is to be left with your weakness you seek, then so be it. But if it is reason to move on and a path to due so which you will, I may offer it." She could lay down once more and rot within the mercy surely to consume her or, she could take the harsher path and live. She could live a new life from whatever wrong she was leaving in her wake and Elettra would be her open door to this. The offer was there and Elettra takes a single step, hesitant in her wait for answer, though ready to leave at any moment of objection. |
