Dance as if no one is watching - Spectre - Jul 07, 2013 Her new home had given her ample time to sleep and meet her pack members. A few days after her joining Spectre had woken at first light and departed the pack lands, intent on exploring the territories surrounding her new home. If she didn't find anything to jog her memory, at the very least, she could find something that would help her learn her way around. The ivory clad femme trotted at a somewhat decent pace through the trees, intent on bathing herself clean before she went on another hunt for items of note and landmarks. It was obvious when she passed through the pack boundaries, almost like an invisible fence. She might not know who she was, but Spectre still had her instincts. She knew that before too long, she would have to hunt, but wasn't sure what game resided in these woods. Having picked a direction seemed to pay off when she came to a creek. Pausing, her head lifted as she sniffed around, trying to scent the wind coming towards her for signs of another. She didn't know what packs were close by, and didn't want to cause trouble for her own leaders if she ran into an enemy pack. Sure, her hide held the scent of Pitch Pine but she doubted that it was strong enough just yet. Wading into the brook, Spectre stood smack in the middle and lowered her head, lapping at the crystal waters with an inner glee. She was finding the water of this place quite delightful. After her thirst had been taken care off, the wolf took one last look around before she yapped and pounced in the water, enjoying a short stint of play with the cold liquid. No one was watching anyway. The wolf began bounding through the water, her jaws snapping on the water dropplets that rose. She gave herself to the enjoyment of the cool waters, and a floating stick she happened to find. It became quite the interesting toy. RE: Dance as if no one is watching - Capella - Jul 09, 2013 [dohtml] RE: Dance as if no one is watching - Spectre - Jul 10, 2013 [doHTML] Spectre didn't notice the other wolf approaching until she spoke, and it caused her to miss catching the stick, and the damnable thing fell on her head. Clenching her teeth to suppress a whine of pain from the impact the wood made against her skull. The white lady shook her head, turning to glance at Capella, blinking ice blue eyes in mild interest. A smile touched her maw before she dipped her head in greeting, triangle pointed ears perked towards the younger wolf. "Good day..." She was not sure if this was a wolf of Pitch Pine, at least not until the other got close enough that she could smell the scent of her pack on her. Immediately, the female felt her body relax, surprised to find that she had tensed in preparation for some kind of trouble. "I..Do not believe that we have met. I'm Spectre." The she wolf loped from the water and onto the same bank as Capella, lowering her head and shaking herself vigorously from nose to tail. Lifting her head once again, the female sat on her hips and parted her jaws in a wide smile, allowing her tongue to loll from the side of her lips. "How long have you been a part of the pack?" She did not know Capella's name, and wanted to find out, but was not sure how she could go about asking without coming off as rude.. So instead, she chose to simply ask a question based on the other females association with the pack in the hope that she would find out her rank, and relation to the leaders. And hopefully a name as well. Spectre wondered if the other outranked her, she seemed a little young, but if she was the offspring of the leaders, then she would outrank her on principal. [/doHTML] |
