The churning of water rushing upon rock and over growth rumbled deep within the earth, making a loud roar echo harshly within the females ears. Paws picking up the vibrations from the bubbling waters as she drew closer and closer to the sound. A curiosity deep seated within her to drive onwards and forwards made her body move in a ethereal like manner across land. The seasonal change chill upon the air, and the crispness made her shudder with delight as the moisture became heavier the closer she drew to the falls. Alas a sweet escape from the warmer temperatures and climate that she was not accustomed to made her miss home dearly. It was the intrigueing scent that lingered with the smell of fresh water, which caught her attention the most. It smelt of a fresh kill, newly deceased and this only drew the hungry femme in closer to unknown territory. It was unlike her, since her arrival here she had been careful as to where she stepped and what she did. The place was like a whole other world to her, that still was unaccounted for and unknown; possibly dangerous for all she knew and every instinct and teaching screamed caution over the fact that she didn't have a strong male figure around to protect her if the time called for it.

With a deep sigh she would draw her body across grass and fallen leaves, each paw carefully being placed as if in fear that she would awaken someone. Green eyes darting around rapidly in search of something or possibly someone. She wasn't stupid, she could smell the others that bordered these area's and the smell of a fresh kill would probably bring them in closer; if it wasn't one of their own, white fur speckled with silver gleamed in the sunlight, whilst the fur upon her back gave her a caped appearance. It wasn't long before she stepped into view of the majestic falls. Each beautiful teer running into another giving the illusion that it would never end. Sprays of water misting the air and casting a rainbow effect about the area made a look of awe come across her face. The appearance of such a place was a stunning new discovery to the alaskan female. Her awe, yet weary and uncertain appearance could clearly be written across her face as she froze where she stood. The smell had gotten stronger and now, she could see the corpse of a freshly slain deer, and all her instincts told her to turn around and leave, yet the gnawing hunger made her come closer cautiously as like many of her breed she was more of a scavanger rather than a hunter herself.

RE: Reflections - Elettra - Jul 31, 2013

The rogue Arctic woman was not the only predator this evening to be drawn to the scent of prey. Elettra's ventures only brought her so far, mainly sticking to the Southern Eden and along the Heart of Relic Lore when she had been curious of Swift River's disappearance. Today she moves beyond this stretch of forestry if only to bring her close to the roaring of the Bramble's with an eagerness for food to bring back home. Elettra had been itching for a hunt for too long, though had kept her craving to rabbits and moles and mice only, if only to keep from risking injury whilst she needed to protect her still young children, as well as her sole ruling position in the pack. Though the caches were not swelling, they were there and Elettra could only assume that Tempest's lack of appearance was due to her constant strive to keep the pack well supplied.

Today, the Archer woman's intentions are to lift the burden of her Huntress and bring food back home herself. The carcass is in sight and though distantly she could smell the other woman, without seeing her yet Elettra's attention remains upon the kill. Her the silver and gold highlights of her coating as aglow with the rising of the sun, to the parting of the forest where the Falls revealed the open sky, the lack below which fed the rivers and of course, the pale young woman.
Elettra's eyes snap into the other wolf's attention, making her way towards the same kill. Elettra tenses to the larger breed, freezing in her spot and displaying a slight defensive stance should a fight break out over the meal of this deer. Elettra had no intention to risk a fight where it was not needed, though she also had no intention to be booted out from her fair share.

It was just then, she could smell it and she could hear it! Her sensitive ears picking up the smallest of sounds, the lightest of footsteps and it made her tense ready for just about anything. Though the wind was not in her favor the sound of it, she discerned to be that of another larger animal. To low to the ground to be a deer, but also to high off the ground to be a skunk, fox or other such creature. Oh, those pesky little critters always got under her skin! but that was not what she thought it to be. Her fur bristling slightly and standing on end, paws sturdying her stance as she lowered her ears abit. Her mind not allowing her body to even move, her tail lowering just slightly but sticking almost straight out behind her and fur fluffed up.

It was a low warning growl that would issue forth from her throat. It seemed as if every muscle in her body would freeze, this was unfamiliar territory and she didn't know if this 'person' was another larger male or if it was female. All she knew was that she had to defend herself if need be. Finally with a sudden urge and strong burst of will power she forced herself to turn, hackles raised slightly and teeth bared. Ears pinning against her head, yet a look of pure terror evident upon her face if one could see before they arrived. The way her orbs darted around rapidly searching and looking for the source of the disturbance. Her head tucked in slightly as she panted, her heart feeling like it was going to beat out of her chest. Just then she saw them, a female whom was coming her direction. The wind thankfully having switched direction and making it so that she could tell at least. Though her posture just slightly relaxed, her mind almost all but forgetting about the carcass and hunger, she watched wearily as the woman drew closer. The others own posture becoming defensive as well, but trying to calm her shaking and jumping nerves she lowered her defenses only slightly. Allowing her lips to peel back over her teeth and her ears to raise slightly before speaking "Who are you? What is this place? And why in the world are you sneaking around?!" She knew her words seemed a little rushed but the girl was freaking out mentally at that moment.

A warning growl would pause Elettra in her place as she had tried to make her way towards the kill. A flash of teeth had her hackles standing on end and her jaws clenching as her silken black ears kept pressed to her skull which hunched back between her shoulder blades protectively. Obviously, she had scared the hell out of the other woman, this much was obvious, though a burning irritation in Elettra formed quick with the other younger, larger, woman's words. "Chill." The woman's words snap, hoping to silence the girl in her need to spat not one, two, but three questions into her direction quickly and without much thought, it seemed. "I do not take well to demands." Of any kind. Whether in be in questioning like the female was interrogating now, or whether it be in action. Little throughout the entirety of her life held such an ability to do so, those who were ether her parents or the ones she had highly respected, honored when she was lower then them. Elettra's time as Matriarch had gone on for some time and she was not accustom to adhering a wolf's demand, whether it be a member or her pack or a simple loner. Though Elettra did not raise her tail in dominance to the other woman, nor did she flash her teeth aggressively, she made it absolutely clear with her stare and tensed position she was not about to take any shit from this woman, with her size advantage or not. "Bramble Falls." She said simply to the name of this exact location, despite the fact that it was as well within the Heart of the lands, which was titled by Relic Lore as a whole. Asking where she was seemed rather vague, though Elettra picked an answer for one of the many questions she had asked. The simplest of questions and the less intrusive one.
