Forever Young - Isadora - Sep 01, 2013

[Hover = Translation <3 || All Welcome || Close to MG borders, but not too close]

Isadora had been wandering for maybe a day, scouting out familiar lands, and she had exited Red Fern Forest, and she followed the water source that happened to be there. "Kazhetsya, chtokrik... stranno dlya menya, no ne slishkom stranno. YA ne dumayu, chto kogda-libo vstretit'sya litsom k litsu s odnim, no ya slyshal o nikh." She told herself, speaking in Russian, which she was more prone to speak in than her other languages. The bilingual female was odd no doubt, but she had never been told that before in her life. She could speak a fluent English, which she noticed most wolves spoke in the lands that she now called home, but part of her wished for a wolf who spoke her native tongue of Russian.

She followed the creek, and she started scenting around, only to find there was a scent of a marked pack borders. She went up to it, and then backed away until she was just barely in sight. She examined the borders, trying to find a scent she recognized... and then she remembered that one wolf Borlla talking about how she ran a pack near a Creek and so she figured it was her pack. She started to walk away from the borders more, scenting the air for maybe a hint of rabbit or vole that she could bring back with her. After all she wanted to call herself Darkwater Hunter, not Darkwater Guardian or Darkwater Scout. So it was fitting that she bring back food to keep the caches full. She found nothing, and assumed that the pack was always hunting out here and so the female would find nothing.

One small sip of the water from the creek was all he wanted. But then he had just had to trip over a hiding tree root. The result of this was him ending up flat on his side, eyes closed in frustration. He hadn’t been hurt, but the humiliation of someone seeing him falling to the ground was horrifying. Then there was the fact that he was still on his side, laying in the dirt and who-knows that else, seething in anger for his own mistake. If a wolf had seen him, he would make sure they never lived to see another sunrise, sundown or anything else but one last look at him before they died. Anouke hated showing weakness or anything that could shame him.

The Young Hellion quickly clambered to his large, white paws and gave a rough shake of his dark coat. Bright amber eyes gave a quick scan over his pelt to make sure there was nothing caught in his fur, which was very pilose. He always strived for perfection, physically as well as mentally. Once Anouke was sure that his coat was clean and good-looking, he ambled over to the edge of the creek and lowered his dark head to take a long drink of his well-earned water.

Once he had drunk his fill, Anouke stretched his neck and legs before trotting into the trees that surrounded the banks if the creek. If it was one thing that he loved –apart from his sister- it was exploring and wandering the lands that he called home. He was a loner by heart, and never liked to stay in one place too long, unless it couldn’t be helped. The only time he did was when he and his sister joined a pack; disrupting pack life and turning members against one another. Just because they could, and for revenge.

Just then, strange words could be heard (possibly in a foreign language) and Anouke pricked his ears. The words seemed to be coming from upstream. Padding forwards at a trot, he followed the creek, but as a scent filtered through his jet black, sensitive nose, the Young Hellion paused briefly. He could easily scent pack borders, maybe the words were from a wolf that lived in the pack? A smirk formed on his handsome features. This would be amusing.

When Anouke came upon a completely black fae with light brown –almost amber- eyes, he stopped, just on the edge of the trees. It seemed she was searching for something. Prey? Well, he wasn’t interested in that. So striding forward, the Young Hellion stopped once again when he was a few feet away from the black fae. He couldn’t meet her eyes as she wasn’t looking directly in his direction, but maybe she’d already known he was there, and was just waiting for him to act first.

Cocking his head to the left, another smirk found itself on his handsome face as he stared at the black fae. She didn’t smell like the pack’s borders, but of another. How strange. The tip of his brown tail twitched to the side as he lifted up his right leg –which was all white- and flexed it calmly. Whenever he met a new wolf, he always did that, but why, he didn’t know. “I heard you speaking before. A foreign language, no?” His voice was deep and soft, yet also full of volume, like a bass guitar. This female intrigued him in many ways, although all were for his own interest, and for the pack that she belonged to.

Oh, he would have much fun with her.

Isadora Montyago

darling you give love a bad name

Isadora heard a voice, and Isadora never trusted voices that she heard, especially when they concerned wolves that she had yet to see. She stayed speaking in Russian. just until she figured out more about him and when she turned she blew up in his face. Her fast and rather slurred Russian tongue was outright and hard to understand. "Rezervnoye kopirovaniye .... rezervnoye kopirovaniye neposredstvenno pered ya prizyvayu k moyey sobstvennoy pomoshchi. Rezervnoye kopirovaniye YA. demona. Zadniy khod!" The words seemed to flow so naturally that it almost made her proud. A small smirk she held, but when she saw his face she frowned. The man was being strange, she didn't trust him as far as she could throw him, especially with the look he gave her.

Her black fur was practically bristling along the spine, and her hackles were raised. She had more of snarled her speech than she did say it. The warning was final, if by chance he continued to approach, she could and would attack him. He was close to her home lands and she did anything and everything she could to protect her pack lands. She did it for Lady Ava and Sir Kade, she did it for the pups too. She did it for all her packmates and she didn't see that changing any time soon. "Leave. Leave now and never come back." She said protectively. She rarely ever acted like that, but she had a strange feeling that he was somehow connected to Indiago. She ran off in a startled state and went home. She had no idea what was scaring her.
