Why should I follow a stranger? - Jaden - Nov 18, 2013 A silver frame collapsed to the ground panting heavily from traveling. Her paws were sore and a little bloody from climbing the Mountain of Dire. Jaden was completely exhausted at the moment and could care less if she never got up again. Going from Cedar to the rocky terrain had been a long and unforgettable trek for the young fea. She'd been by many pack borders, seen plenty lands, and all in all didn't want to start moving for awhile. She had not a clue to where she was heading nor when she'd stop but for now she felt that the other side of the Lore was calling her. Odd thing to believe but it was her journey. Yawning a whinny yawn she sat her head down on her tired paws and listen to the Winter wind whistle. Large snowflakes fell slowly down eager to build up and cover the ground. *Oh what a beautiful season, so sparkly and white* Jade thought contently. A smile slid onto her leathery black lips as she slipped into a sweet dream of her old 'pack', The Romans. Though she felt betrayed by them there would always be the good times she'd remember every now and then. Groggily she awoke to the sound of a branch snapping into two. Without a thought or moments hesitation she was up on her paws and bounding away. Her noise crinkled as her hackles rose, she only showed a display of warning for she meant no harm if no harm came to herself. Barley blue eyes examined the land around her waiting and watching as erect ears swiveled about listening for any tattle tell noise she could receive from her company. (Hope you don't mind the twig thing, sorry if you do.) |
