Ghost - Raksha - Feb 18, 2014 White Walker Something has taken up residence in the forests of Relic Lore. Do we dare mention what it is what your wolf thought they saw? for @Koda ------ The ghostly wraith seems to glide over the snow, hollow sides and matted fur blending almost seamlessly with the winterscape across which it travels. What may have once resembled a wolf was now barely more than a walking skeleton, the trail left behind it a clear indication of the monsters fatigue, drag marks more than paw prints. The beast is hungry.
From a distance, dark pits sit where eyes should be (their deep brown melting to black from a distance). A dark smudge where a defined nose should perch, lower jaw hanging from it’s hinge exposing dull white fangs as steam bellows from the creatures gaping mouth, as though the air from hell itself is escaping into this realm from the white wolf’s chest. Through it all, the snow continues to fall, oblivious to the danger. Oblivious to the silence. The creature pauses for a moment, dark eyes scanning the horizon for any sign of life, any hint of sustenance. The large head tips back as lids fall closed before snapping open with a start. Movement? Perhaps. A low howl, eerie howl is sent out in greeting. Who are you? Where are you? RE: Ghost - Koda - Feb 21, 2014 [dohtml] He was patrolling, making himself useful during this harsh winter and attempting to forget the incidents that had taken place earlier in the week. So many changes had occurred in Koda's life that he could no longer keep up with the chain of effects, he was just lucky enough to have his aspirations of becoming the packs guardian to keep him busy and doing so kept him at the packs border. During his walk he took the time to recap on his goals, and of how hard he intended to work to put his life back on track, he was bigger than his problems and he knew he could over come them if he could only focus. It was while he was at the border that he heard a howl, it was coming from the neighboring land of Blackberry Fields and was directed to no one in particular but his curiosity got the best of him. He wanted to know who this mystery wolf was, and whether they needed a home during this crazy winter weather, he had no doubt that Secret Woods had room in its roster to house one more individual. Abandoning his patrol of the border, as he had already walked the most of it when the sun made its first arrival, he followed the scent of the wolf's howl, keeping his nose at the ground, until he was in Blackvberry Fields and within a couple hundred yards of the female. His eyes landed on her young form, her white coat blended into the background though her almond colored eyes gave way to her presence. She was a beautiful sight to find during these hard times, and she looked to have come from a previous home for her weight was average considering this horrible weather, but he could sense that something was wrong. Approaching her with caution, his defenses on edge in case he needed to fight, he sniffed a final time in her direction before speaking, "Was that you howling into the wind?" he questioned, doubting that any others had given call to the wind. He wondered what she needed |
