In a way, Gabriel was a little disappointed that throughout his entire travels here the only company he had was the occasional startled meal and that rather... weird female he made acquaintances with earlier in the orchard. When they had finally parted ways, traveling back to his "home base" near the springs wasn't that hard to do. This place was certainly strange but with every passing Gabriel became more and more comfortable with it.

The sun had finally started to set once again, with no sun to keep the chill at bay Gabriel could feel the cold air soak into his fur and under his skin. At least he had a full stomach, the young wolf wasn't above picking at the scraps of others and was very thankful to whoever left it behind earlier. It would be awhile before he would venture out again in search for a snack. The sound of running water was lulling him to sleep, why wasn't anyone else calling this place home he thought. The scenery was beautiful, amazing to take in, much better than the muted plains and pale forests he called home as a kid.

Though he didn't want to leave himself unguarded and vulnerable, sleep sounded way too good to pass up. With that, Gabriel let his eyes close and drifted off to sleep. The smell of deer in the distance dancing by his nose ever so often.
