Serenity - Pyrrhus - Jun 01, 2014

Anyone is welcome to post here, but I'm hoping to get someone from BTD to come and meet him, as that's the pack I'm planning on trying to join.

With no destination the white ghost zig-zagged across the Lore, often crossing his own paths more than once. He scented a few packs and the odd loner's trail but never found anything to hold his wandering interest. He wanted something to conquer, something to rule, but around here the packs were solid and Pyrrhus wasn't about to round up a bunch of worthless rogues. He was beginning to consider joining a pack for a time for the support they could offer and the safety he could live in.

But that wasn't an issue yet. Food was plentiful now that summer was in full force; a lone wolf could scavenge just fine. Pyrrhus nosed around in the tall grasses that made up Blackberry Fields, hoping to pinpoint a scent that could lead him to food. The ivory fur around his lips was stained with dark juices from the blackberries speckling the place.

The white wolf suddenly dropped to his kneed and rolled to his side, digging his nose in the sweet grass as he writhed on the ground, soaking up the strangely luring aroma of a mostly rotten sparrow carcass. He rolled until he his fur was fully saturated with the scent and then resumed his meandering gait through the fields, not caring much about his surroundings but always subconsciously aware of the dangers it held. Not that it mattered. Pyrrhus was the strongest both in body and spirit. He was a king...he just had to find a kingdom to rule.

RE: Serenity - Tokino - Jun 05, 2014

Tokino had been patrolling his pack borders for nearly the whole morning. He took his time doing the job, scenting every little curious smell, and keeping a lookout for danger along the borders. His gray fur sways like waves along the silver man's shoulders and mane as the breeze pushes over his lean frame. The long legged wolf had started to head back to his favorite resting spot near the southern borders edge where a large flat boulder lay hidden mostly by blackberry bushes. However the fresh scent of a loner made the gray man grumble with annoyance. He didn't particularly like newcomers and strangers encroaching on their territory even if they meant well. Accepting new member was more of a Minka job than it was his. Kino could never get himself to trust loners enough to accept them when they came to join at borders.

Heading back out to the border the gray man paused scenting the air and determining where exactly the stranger male was. About half a mile out that way... Tokino wasn't sure if the loner even knew of their borders yet or if he was just about to stumble upon them. Their pack was quite new so the silver wolf was sure no one would really know about it yet.

He traveled then to meet the stranger head on. Eventually the white pelt of the other male appeared in the distance in stark contrast with the green bushes all around him. Kino approached closer letting a growl slip through his teeth to warn the other male of his presence.

You should turn back around if you like living your life as a loner. Tokino grumbled watching the white wolfs movements carefully. The gray man held his head proudly showing off the strong healthy body his father's bloodline had given him. He hoped the male would scent the various members of Black THorn Downs upon his coat and turn away to leave the family alone, but there was always the chance the white wolf wanted to join his family. Tokino waited about ten wolf lengths away to see what the male would do.
