She Shot Me Down - Camio - Jul 06, 2014 @Anstice Although it was tempting to settle down with that Neoma wolf Camio decided to check out the lands a bit on his own. He didn't have an issue with being a loner for a while before settling down into some pack full of others of his own kind. Besides, he knew soon enough loneliness would come gripping at his heart. Lust would soon follow after, along with greed of course. Those sins came natural to him. With him lust and greed went hand in hand. Where one went the other was soon to follow after. Especially when it came to woman. Oh how Camio wanted to woo some woman. Maybe even try to keep one around. Yet he thought of it a bit silly. He had never been one good with relationships in any manner. Shuffling along he kept his head down looking at his owns paws as they moved. The smell of a pack lingered near by which gave him a far warning to stick a good distance from them. This time of year packs would be filled with little fluffy children whining and over protective mothers ready to bite your head off. Camio wanted neither of those today so it would be best to just linger away from the borders. Doing so he would sneak a peak out in the distance where the pack surely laid. Blackberry bushes surely filled with their savory berries and juices. As tempting as it was, berries and their juice just weren't worth getting into a fight or loosing a limb. RE: She Shot Me Down - Anstice - Jul 07, 2014 [dohtml] She had hardened out since her child died. She was almost back to her old self as she ran the borders and wandered away from them too. Her sleek white fur was freshly cleaned as she prowled the lands just outside the borders. Her eyes narrowed at the scent of a loner in the fields. She hissed slightly, having an emotionless face set, as she wandered close to him in order to get a look at who it was. "You're dangerously close to death boy." She threatened with a snarl hidden in her throat. The wolf was medium sized compared to her larger frame. She figured that she could easily take him if he were to pose a fight. She had a mischievous and devilish smile that just smelled of trouble. She had examined the dark and light brown man who had black dustings around him. She looked at the man, his brown eyes, but did not yet lock eyes with the man. She was going to save that for if she had to take his life. Her tongue swept over her yellowed teeth as she held a fierce glare on her eyes. Looks like I get to play with my food. She told herself, snickering in her mind but not changing her emotionless face. It was a joke and one she found quite humorous. She began to wonder who he was and what his story was. Did he have a story, a mate, children? She couldn't care less about any of it but it made her wonder. Re: - Spirit of Wildwood - Jul 07, 2014 A lynx has left behind the remains of a deer. +5 Health RE: She Shot Me Down - Camio - Jul 07, 2014 (Feel free to have @Anstice notice the deer remains!) His silent walking was broken by the sound of a female. "You're dangerously close to death boy." With a smile wicked spreading from ear to ear Camio turned his face to the source of the sound. A stunning white beauty. She was larger then he was but that didn't matter to him. What did matter was her name. That was something he wanted to know. Flicking his tail he let his smile dim down a bit. Hiding up most of his ivory teeth. "If being close to death means being close to the sight of you then I'll die any day." His voice was smooth like usual as his words danced through the air to slide into her ears. Not daring to make eye contact for too long he only would steal a few glances before letting his eyes wander elsewhere. It was obvious by her scent that she was part of that blackberry bush living pack. He could only figure she was a guardian of sorts the way she moved herself, her size, and the way she spoke. Either that or he was one of those over protective mothers he was worried about. Daring to take a step closer he nodded slightly. "My name is Camio darling. Though most call me Cain or merely know me as Cain." Trying to hide a grin from slipping on his face he looked down to the ground for a brief second or two. Letting the silence sink in for a few moments he let his eyes briefly look into her's as he spoke his next words. "What's your name? Must be something quite stunning to fit you." Doing a quick eye over her he noticed his chances of living may be slim if she didn't like the way he was speaking to her. RE: She Shot Me Down - Anstice - Jul 07, 2014 [dohtml] The man who she just threatened turned towards her and started to flirt with her. It was sickening to her stomach but she decided to play along to his little fantasy. "You're a pretty smooth talker boy. Cain, I am Abel but most call me Abbie." The lie was smooth of her lips as if it were the truth. She raised an eyebrow slightly as she examined him down. Perhaps she could take something out of this. "I also go by Anstice." She decided to let him in on the little bit of a truth. She leaned close to him, up to his ear as she whispered the worlds. "Do you like danger?" The words were mischievous as she took off away from the pack borders to see if he would follow her. I'll be your ghost, your game, your stadium. I'll be your fifty-thousand clapping like one. She had made up her mind to play him fr all he had but who knew where it might lead. She had been heading gracefully for the remains of a deer that seemed to be left by a lynx. It felt so right to be doing what she was doing... yes... she was definitely back. The loss of her son had been pushed to the back of her mind but she could never forget. She was good at masking her emotions and she did it all for him. It was what he would have wanted had he been old enough to understand it. She had convinced herself. RE: She Shot Me Down - Camio - Jul 07, 2014 Anstice. It was a beautiful name that fit her looks. This brought his tail to a moderate wag. "@Anstice, stunning name for a stunning woman." When she moved closer and leaned in to his ear a tingle was sent down his spine. The whole world seemingly stopped for what seemed like hours. Was this it? Would she bite down on his skull? Should he had moved? It was too late for him. A heavy breath was released from his lips when she did not attack. No, she spoke soft words into his ears. "Do you like danger?" He would have laughed but something kept him from not laughing. He lived in danger and danger lived in him. "I live for the danger in life. And I can only guess you do too." His voice barely above a whisper. An obvious sign his words were meant only for her ears to hear. As she walked away Camio was quick to follow her. His pace moved his body so he was moving next to her. The scent of lynx and deer lingered and Camio was thinking that that was where they were heading. Deciding to strike up some conversation the male shot a quick glance at the woman's, now known as Anstice, face. "If I may ask, can I learn a bit more about you? You're quite the interesting wolf Miss Anstice." Letting his tail give the lightest tap against her leg he was testing her. Seeing how much she would go along with his games. RE: She Shot Me Down - Anstice - Jul 07, 2014 [dohtml] Her mind was laughing at the agenda she was pushing. She was some messed up young adult who found a way to ease her pain by messing with others like she was doing... but she was alright with that because it was who she was. His words reached her ears and she hid a smile on her muzzle. He was going to prove it by her own terms. When she found the deer she went straight past it and followed the lynx trail. She felt his tail tap her leg but she didn't react to it at all. She hid the wicked grin on her muzzle. She broke into a run towards the scent of the lynx before stopping dead in her tracks. "Boys don't learn about me until they become men. Boys become men by doing very dangerous things." She played with his mind, her voice soft and enticing (hopefully). She wanted to be the puppeteer. The lynx was just out of eyesight and she knew it. She was trying to mess with his ego and throw him off his game to test his recovery. What sort of dangers had he faced in his lifetime? Anstice was trying to figure that one out herself. I'm killing every second 'til it saves my soul. The Alexa woman had that playful look on her face. No one ever messed with her and the game he played was dangerous. But if he survived... he would be the right kind of guy to maybe find Minka and meet her... Anstice was staying in Black Thorn Downs until she could get her plan into action. Would he be worthy to even hear of her plan? RE: She Shot Me Down - Camio - Jul 07, 2014 @Anstice He couldn't hold it in any longer. A lightly chuckle slipped past his lips into the air. He was being amused by her and the way she spoke or moved. It left him to linger lightly on what exactly she was trying to do that involved him. Though he wouldn't complain really, Camio kind of liked it. Quickly she was off. Moving right pass the deer carcass. Camio didn't dare stop to take a bite of the deer. Instead he followed her. When she stopped, he stopped right next to her. The corner of his lips twitched into a faint smile before they faded away. "Well then what is it I got to do to prove I am a man? I'll do just about anything to prove it to you, love." To say he was curious as to what she was going to say was quite the understatement. He was thinking about what could she possibly make him do. If the smell of lynx involved what he was gonna do then he had no choice to man it up. A lynx wouldn't be all that bad to prove to her, right? Standing tall and still at her side he looked out into the lands. Camio was prepared for what she was gonna throw at him. A little roughing up never hurt anyone either. By now he probably needed something to rough him up on the edges. Add a bit more sizzle to his style. Maybe that's just what she was going to do to him. |
