Oh, teacher teacher, won't you teach me? - Danica - Jul 20, 2014 @Namid, I'm going to date this for Tuesday, if that's alright? It's too close to another topic in my opinion. Plus idk if I could make it then... Might be busy workin'. IC: ~DANICA REINIER~ One day I will out smart you. Boredom was sinking in to the extreme, she did not like the whole idea of resting. She had to lay here like a bump on a log. Not cool! She could be out and about making up for any lost knowledge. Her pup hood had been tough, and robbed her of teachings. At least, in the young girl's mind. She wanted to be useful in her life instead of hurt! It was sooo unfair. Complaining Danica let out whiny growls of frustration. To make matters worse it was now midday and she was stuck inside. "I wanna go outside," She told her surroundings loudly sounding very much like an annoying child. It wasn't like she had anyone else to talk to. Titan was probably off doing what was needed. Along with the others. The caverns could be so lonely when you're confined to one spot. Carefully she sat up and glanced at her nasty wound. She grimanced and quickly turned her head away. A huff escaped her black lips. What was she supposed to do? Plus she was getting hungry. Couldn't she use that as an excellent excuse to walk? *"You really shouldn't be doing that. My brother would not be pleased, Miss Reinier."* Yuka's words pushed her thoughts back and kept her at bay. Keeping that in mind she slowly laid down again. Why did she have to try and jump that log? She would of been happier if she missed out on the life lesson. Groaning her protest she closed her eyes and tried to force herself into sleep. She'd appreciate dreams of running right now. Then she would have a little bit of freedom. A voice...a feminine one at that. Danica's ears lifted up as she opened her eyes. Embarrassment flooded her features at first, then eagerness. She didn't have to be alone today. This wolf was clearly a new pack member, and for once she wanted to meet someone. "Oh no, please do come in. I'm Danica...I guess I've been bumped down in the ranks? Ma'am?" The young wolf spoke politely, even though she was disappointed to loose her title as third. However, the idea of a yearling ranking above an adult was funny. She kind of understood past all of her jealousy. Crudy post, sorry! :) RE: Oh, teacher teacher, won't you teach me? - Namid - Sep 23, 2014 You're fine! If it wasn't obvious enough by my super late reply, I'm a little busy too. Thank you for the compliment on the table!
[dohtml] It was almost as if the girl’s ears shot up, her stance automatically turning happy as her tail started to thump. Namid held back a laugh at this and settled for her seemingly permanent smile, immediately thrown into a whirlwind of conversation by the younger female. Curiosity held her at the color of the younger’s coat, a shade of cream she hadn’t seen on any other wolf. Her cutting green gaze could be said of the same, and already she could tell she was unique. How such a seemingly friendly young girl could get herself into such a mess was beyond her, but she decided to not ask. It would likely bring up a sour subject for a first conversation. Instead, she’d focus on making her feel normal and on enjoying a conversation with the unknown fae. “I do not know much about the titles still, it is strange already that I am second. But do not worry, I am sure you will find yourself up at the top again soon. My name is Namid, but you may call me whatever you wish to. It does not make a difference to me. Might I ask your name?” Her formal tone, as usual, took over her vocals immediately. Though it wasn’t choppy sounding, the tone made it obvious that she wasn’t from around Relic Lore. Honestly, she wasn’t from the same place as most wolves around Relic Lore were or even wolves from outside of it. Moving further into the den she was sure to leave plenty of comfortable, moveable space between them before sitting down. The young girl thought of her new pack mate to be pretty and interesting. She had an odd accent, new and all the more exciting. Typically this would of intimidated the yearling, but in her boredom she found some courage. "I'm Danica, it is quite lovely to meet you, Namid. I sure hope your right...no offense meant. I just enjoyed being on top...made me feel like less of the...coward...I am." She spoke a little unsure with the word coward. Was that what she really was? A ping of pain followed by a stiring of insecurity filled her tummy. Still she smiled and wagged her tail at her acquaintance. "So, you sound...different? Are you from somewhere else, like Kass? He speaks Russian." The pale girl did her best not to be rude. She simply wanted to hear any tales of another land Namid had. If she was from elsewhere, maybe an interesting story would take place. Maybe she came from a land with odd creatures or total harmony. As the young wolf filled her mind with longing thoughts and total fantasies, a look of awe consumed her face. She pictured herself with both of her families; Whisper Caverns and Secret Woodlands. Plus others she knew and cared for, of course. She could imagine them at some strange exotic place where both Tacoma and Malia were alive. Happy and one giant untouchable pack. *Peaceful* She thought desperately wanting it to be her reality. |
