Payin' anything to roll the dice - Ashanti - Aug 19, 2014 @Miccah There are an unusual number of foxes being sighted around Relic Lore. Foxes are attacking Ashanti. There are three of them and she has one of them by the throat while one is biting/tearing at her back and the other got thrown off by about three feet. <3
[dohtml]She had been peacefully collecting herbs, still recovering from the fight with Kite for the rank (results still undetermined). She hadn't even noticed the scent of the russet brown creatures through the musky scent of all the different medicinal tools she had collected until the three of them were right in front of her. "Oh shit." She cursed as she slowly started to back up. "Fuck. Fuck." She stated again with her eyes wide. One fox, she could handle. Two foxes, it would be highly difficult but she could still manage to stay intact. Three foxes she definitely couldn't fight alone. Her eyes would not reflect her fear but her sheer will to survive as she let out a yelp. One of them had lunged forward at her and bit her in the upper right leg. "Help." She called out as she prepared to fight. She would snarl as loud as she could before launching at one of the foxes, the one who had bit her, aiming right for the jugular on it's beck so she could rip it's throat out. The other foxes leapt at her, tearing at her back near her shoulder blades and she bit back tears as she tried to shake them off. She needed help fast or it was quite clear she would not make it out of this. Her herbs were scattered across the ground now as she had dropped them to defend herself from the attacking predators. She would exhale and inhale deeply and loudly as she managed to shake one of the foxes off. RE: Payin' anything to roll the dice - Miccah - Aug 19, 2014 Hope I did this right xD

RE: Payin' anything to roll the dice - Ashanti - Aug 19, 2014 [dohtml] She was relieved beyond belief when Miccah showed up and quickly disposed of the fox on the sidelines while trying to get the other one off of her back. Blood seeped out of the wounds and she hissed as she quickly snapped the neck of the last red fox that was lurking about. It was the one she had by the neck and she had killed it. She looked over, the wounds stinging slightly as she turned to see that Miccah was quickly dealing with the last one. The man who had avoided her for so long, the man she was starting to remember, he had been the one to answer her pleas for help. It had not been Nina or any of the official pack guardians. It had been him. She had started to remember bits of her childhood though only the peaceful stuff. There was a memory of her running into a jet black pup of her age at the borders. A pup who would grow to be her best friend and perhaps even more. It was different then the memories she had recovered in her fight with Kite. They were happier. In her fight with Kite she had remembered Nina comforting her... a lot. There was one of her curled up on the borders in a ball and Nina trying to calm her down. There was a black wolf next to her, she remembered that, but it wasn't Miccah. Then there was the memory of her her finding Miccah, or more of Miccah finding her, again. She had remembered that too. Aideen had told her about her son and Ashanti was partially scared that she was going to recover memories of her incident. She just hoped it wasn't true. She turned to him, the man she realized as she went on that she loved. Not that she did love or had loved, but she loved, and managed to croak out a few words as the wounds on her back stung a bit more. "I remember you." It was all she could say. The only words that she could manage to croak out as she had a desperate and needy look in her eye. She needed him to know that she remembered. RE: Payin' anything to roll the dice - Ashanti - Aug 21, 2014 [dohtml] He ignored her words, letting his guard down for just a moment before it fell up again and it ached. It had stung because she actually knew why he had been avoiding her for so long. He made a blank comment about her being wounded and started to pick up her herbs. She sighed, the pain evident in her eyes as she leaned down to aid in the recovering. She didn't know how to move on so when she had collected the rest of the herbs she looked at him, setting them in a pile below her. "Why are you constantly avoiding me Miccah?" She asked with the pain hidden within her eyes. If he was going to shut himself out from her life because of something that happened beyond her control then she wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of letting him know how much it hurt her. She started to ignore the pain in her back because it was nothing compared to what she had been feeling for a while. She felt alone, more alone then ever despite the fact that she was surrounded by friends and family. She close her eyes, fighting back the emotions that were trying to make themselves known as she looked at the ground. "When I came back, I found this place because of you. I... I started to remember. I remember when I first met you, just pups along the border. I convinced my mum to take you in because you didn't have a family anymore. I don't know what to do anymore." She started, her voice shaky as she looked at him, letting the pain show. Sure he had glanced when he let his guard down. Now though... He wouldn't even look at her. He didn't care. |
